I’ve never commented before on any videos but I have to stop and say I’ve enjoyed your videos from the beginning. You’ve made me want to start or at least try spear fishing. I truly enjoy looking forward to Mondays and I strive to live a life like you. Congratulations.
Definitely want to second this. As I start bringing my friends out to dive for the first times I always send them here first to get some general knowledge, and see that one of the better known spearfishermen out there harvests respectfully, patiently, and takes time to share the joy with others.
Would love more videos like this that teach people how to fish. I've not had an interest in fishing for most my life but now at 31 & without anyone in my life who knows more than me, videos like this help me learn alot. I like Tug Trash Outdoors as well. He does more inland florida stuff like crabbing, lobster etc. Looks like alot of fun what both of you do. Thanks for teaching in this one.
🔊Hi Aaron, Valencia calling again! Toda la semana esperando un nuevo video para verte en el agua again: diving, fishing, spear-fishing, etc., having fun. And then this. Sorry, but educational vids like this, 😮💨, there are thousands to be seen in the www. Very, but very personal opinion: Less education more fun. My days are grey enough. Cuidaos!
Been a subscriber from the beginning. Been waiting for this series ! Well Done ! Simple and effective. Eagerly waiting on the rest in the series !! Cheers !
as simple as unclipping it from the shooting line and disconnecting it from the gun. if you have the same size muzzle bungee, just reconnect the new one. Unless im misunderstanding the question.
Aaron,.. essentially if I were gator hunting.. I could use that break away method to tie into cable on a 50 gal drum right? Be like spearfishing a gator then letting the drum do the work.. Great edumacational video!!
I've been wanting a video like this to include a slip tip because for the life of me I can't find a video on how to make a slip tip, asking for the Jamaicans
Newbie here as well. I'm guessing you have another spear with/and or another set -up...wouldn't want to risk the whole day on just one spear. But, maybe a pro will chime in.
its not often you break your rigging. But yes, I carry a spool of dyneema on the boat. If you shoot mono Its good to have a coil of mono, crimps and a crimp tool. I have a video coming out this week about mono vs dyneema shooting line pros and cons.
inside, out of humidity, in an air-conditioned space makes the world of a difference. Some people say fridge or freezer but I've never done that. Closet has worked just fine for me.
Thanks for doing this series. I am getting back into spearfishing but only have experience based on Tampabay and the 1980s and 90s.

really appreciate that! keeps me going! 🙏

The rabbit runs out of the hole, then runs around the tree and then back in the hole 😎
good job
Excellent tutorial. In Louisiana with 99% of shooting in and around oil rigs, we use stainless steel wire, usually 1/8 or smaller. But same concepts.
yup! I talk about different shoot lines in a different video. I'm not a fan of cable on Freedive but I see where it is practical around rigs.
Great stuff.
You don't know how much Ive been wanting this video appreciate it! Thank you man
Haha love to hear it!
so excited you are doing this . this is so clear and concise
thats what I was going for!

Cuidaos!
Awesome video! Very informative and a good review of essential knowledge.
A "nuts and bolts" video. I like it. One thing I like about Aaron is he's a fellow who knows a lot, but doesn't come off like a know it all.
Should be interesting.

love to hear it! releasing 5 or 6 this week an will be adding to it.
Very helpful for us wanting to learn how to Spear. I look forward to the series!
Glad to hear!
Good stuff, thanks for posting.
Looking forward to the rest of this series. Can you show how to replace the main shooting bungees for when they break?
as simple as unclipping it from the shooting line and disconnecting it from the gun. if you have the same size muzzle bungee, just reconnect the new one. Unless im misunderstanding the question.
@@KeyWestWaterman I'm asking about replacing the main big bungees that power the spear.
Oh the bands. Yes i have a video later this week about tying bands
Easy to follow. Thank You.
This is great!!!!

@@KeyWestWaterman looking forward to more, learning quit a bit.. imagine that!!
TNX 4 VID LOL
I've been wanting a video like this to include a slip tip because for the life of me I can't find a video on how to make a slip tip, asking for the Jamaicans
I can't dive due to not being able to equalize my ears, but here I am watching.
haha thanks for tuning in!
Playlist is hidden, not sure if intentional. Great video though.
I will check on it, shouldn't be. But thanks for the heads up!
How about exercises that help you load spearguns easier
Hey I'm not sure the angle on this style if video is the best, maybe angle it up slight while bring the camera further down
bring it up and further down, got it thanks!
Please collaborate with fishaholic bro, that’d be a sick video. You’re both intelligent.
When do u use dynema vs mono? Longer vs smaller gun? Depending on target species ? Pros/cons of each ?
Have a monk vs dyneema video coming out later this week
A? almost at 200k u going up my brother need to come down to tavernier 1 day
👍
Newbie here. So if you have a setup break. Do you take all of that gear out with you to re-rig?

Will you Collab with bluegabe again
when did that collab happen!?!??
How do you prevent bands from dry rotting? If you don't get out often.
Aloha. My friends in Hawaii used store them in ziplocks in the fridge.

With dual band which band loads 1st and which notch
Aaron is too efficient. Others would have made these each 10 minute videos.
