Eurovision 2011 Semi-Final 1 - All 19 Songs

- A selfmade recap of all 19 songs participating in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2011, to be held May 10th. The second semi-final is scheduled for May 12th and the grand final for May 14th. All shows start at 21:00 CET, and the venue is the Esprit Arena in Düsseldorf, Germany. Hosts will be Anke Engelke, Judith Rakers and Stefan Raab. Joint televoting and jury results in every country will determine the 10 finalists that progress to the final.
** VOTING RULES **
Everyone from every participating country can vote for their 10 favourite songs, by giving the traditional Eurovision-votes: 12 points to your favourite, 10 points to your 2nd favourite, 8 points to your 3rd and so on until your number 10 which receives one point.
You can NOT vote for your own country
You can only vote once
You HAVE to indicate from which country you are voting.
All votes that come from voters of the same countries will be added together to get the actual total result of a country.
Once a week (Wednesday normally) an update of the scoreboard will follow. You will be able to download the Excel-sheet for the more detailed results through Mediafire.

I have seen the first Semi-final live, and i must say, Lithuania, Poland and Hungary had the best voice !

It's actually amazing there's so many awesome songs this year in ESC!
When I've watched the Turkish entry on youtube I did not love it but when I've watched it on the stage,it was too AWESOME.
I'm supporting Turkey/Azerbaijan and Switzerland as well as Hungary now since Poland and Norway are out!!!!

My own very personal opinion about first semi-final: I loved Finland as much as I love The Beatles, I already have this song in my iPod and I'm like "da da dam da da dam" all day long since yesterday's evening... Greece also had one of the best performances. Lithuania, um, I'm Lithuanian, so I pretty much enjoy the fact that we're in. I believed in her, I'm always supporting my country's participant, no matter what. I also liked Switzerland. Greetings from Lithuania!

guys I don't think that you should be fighting from your comments to a video of songs for eurovision.Anybody has his opinion for the songs and can tell it free. We are one we are not countries who are fighting for songs.Eurovision is just a contest and that happens for us the time that eurovision broadcast live in all european countries,we all have the same feelings.and I believe that eurovision is for make us to be one soul,one body,one hope,one moment.

U have lots of interviews with Portugal where they explain the concept. People from north europe can´t understand the concept becouse they don´t have to struggle everyday like portuguese people, or greeks, spanish, etc. It´s a music against corruption, injustice, but always in a positive way, not with violence. They´re brillliant.
