how can you give an expansion screw and labial bow together in a appliance. how can it expand the anterior maxilla??? you could have made a split labial bow instead
around the teeth? - its a wax - used for lighting up convex space. Otherwise the material (which the body of the expander is made of) would slide also in those spaces while its liqiudy, which is not whats needed, because it could lead to damaging either model- which is unncessesery , or even the expander. .... the wax melts in the hot water in vacuum and afterwords the aparat is easy removable.
