I am shocked at the ignorance and denials of some settlers when faced with the truth. I feel sick reading some of these comments.
I believe the Elder's and survivor's accounts of the true history of Turtle Island and the planned and executed genocide of Indigenous nations. 🧡 Allies and accomplices need to do more so that the truth will no longer be denied.

I agree with this. My father used to say that everyone should have arrived as if we were guests and live as immigrants. Learn the language, celebrate the events, protect the culture. We all should connect to the indigenous people in our area. Instead of erasing indigenous culture we need to make it stronger.

Sorry.. but didn't the Mohawks do the samething to the Hurons. Its a part of human history throughout the world. Its not just here in Canada. Its not stolen.

Hundreds of years ago in Canada native tribes were fighting and killing each other for control of the land tryingto "steal" it from each other . It was only when European people came here and dominated all the tribes that a country was eventually formed.

It’s important to not paint indigenous people as one because are not monolithic. We’re distinct sovereign nations. I don’t get whatever money you’re talking about.
