My mother was on a feeding tube after having a stroke. The nurses claimed she was going through organ failure and needed to be taken off the feeding tube and allowed to starve to death. Luckily my sister was a doctor and knew they were lying and prevented them from removing the tube at that time. Unfortunately the nurses later removed the tube without notifying my sister, and my sister didn't notice in time to prevent my mother's death. The bottom line is that sometimes the medical establishment acts against the wishes of family and it takes a huge amount of work to make sure they don't take non-reversible acts against our wills.
The nurses did not remove the feeding tube without a doctor’s order. A doctor removed the tube.
@@mariamartin94 If a doctor ordered it they did it without notifying or consulting with the family. That doesn't sound ethical. Of course we also found out that her doctor ran a hospice business where most of the patients that were admitted ended up dying in roughly the amount of time it would take to starve so it wouldn't be too surprising.

Bigger fish to fry. It is with conversion to the Faith that changes people's mi ds about prolife issues. We need to convert the culture back to God, first and that is where we need to focus.
Also becoming prolife leads people to the Faith! There are a lot of people’s conversion stories wherein they loved the Church’s teachings on the sanctity of human life or who knew a ton of Catholics in the prolife movement.

I’m sick and tired of seeing prominent pro life orgs complain about the Republicans unsurprisingly abandoning the issue now that Roe v Wade being overturned, while blatantly ignoring the wide open opportunity to make lasting and deep change on the issue state by state. National bans are politically dead, but state bans are possible, and can demonstrate it’s not the end of the world to many in the middle to ban abortion.
A Personhood Amendment would’ve happened a long time ago when there an equal # of Democrats and Republicans who were pro-life. It didn’t happen then, and it’s not going to happen anytime soon. 😢

@@maryrotz2636 I meant it would have been better for him to have chosen his own time to retire, rather than be in a position he clearly couldn’t handle and have a breakdown of parts of his brain on full display to the world. I wrote that totally from a secular point of view, not a Catholic one. As a traditional Catholic, he’s an abomination to the faith and it has been very clear which master he serves. But, we still need to pray for him, that he has true repentance in his final hours and his soul can be saved. As evil as he is, God can give him those graces to not be cast into the pit.

The question of the Moloch ritual being left to the States is currently a blessing. It has allowed several states, with more to follow, to practically outlaw its practice. It is due to the people and the culture of these states that it was even possible. I believe we need to stop playing into centralized power over everything and work to get back to subsidiarity.

I met a Southern Baptist group at the OKGOP state convention and they are actively working to evangelize the culture. The SB are also starting to shift to a more Catholic stance on IVF and birth control.

When I was attending law school, there was a common statement that would come up quite often. It was: ...to pick the cleanest dirty shirt as opposed to not wearing one at all. Our mission is to bring souls to Christ, but we cannot do that if we are all in prison. Pick the cleanest dirty shirt so we are able to continue our mission. NO Catholic should stay home. Staying home is a vote for the Dems - PERIOD. The "Once and Future President" may not be perfect but he will at least create an environment where opposition to the Moloch ritual has a chance to gain ground. Under Dem rule, ALL opposition will eventually be suppressed. Lastly, keep in mind that God spared "Once and Future President" for a reason in spite of his flaws. We should do everything we can to support him. Some have suggested that he is the Katechon and they may be right.
Trump the Katechon , no way. God can and does use flawed human beings for his own plans however.
We will see what the rest of the year brings, the agendas of the enemies of Christ will fail in the end we know that. Unfortunately I don't think the world has experienced what remains of the chastisement yet, we have not seen fire fall from the sky however most of the rest of the warnings have all come to pass yet we know some of it can be mitigated depending on just how many continue to say the rosary and do penance.
According to Sister Lucia ( the real one ) we are living in parts of revelations ( I forget the exact chapters ) and so that may also mean some other things are yet to come...
The important thing is to remain focused that only Christ is our savior, and not any man. That is sadly the danger today with so much idol worship including that of human beings, it sets many up for disappointment in doing so.
I mean do we really want to know the true horror of who the Dems really have to replace the current guy ?
