2020 I'm facing a decision to move to 3rdshift or stay on 2nd ,I want to get hired on and start the probation period with the Company . The Job on second REALLY LIKE it my numbers are good but the supervisor keeps moving me to a harder an hotter job that I don't like on the weekends we have to work. I don't like 3rd shift but I could do the job I like. Pray for me to have clarity from God on the matter.

May He hold you tightly throughout life and keep your mind and heart when the enemy tries to get you to become angry and calloused toward our God. We have nothing to turn back to, no one else to hold to. Isn't is wonderful to know He loves us endlessly and His mighty hand is all powerful yet kind. He alone brings us peace in times of heartache, questioning, anger and doubt. Experiencing Utterance
Many many times after being in my prayer closet, the Pastor's sermons , specifically preached on exactly what I talked to God about..... Sometimes needing answers , sometimes just need to cry out for help.. We don't just go to church just to go and hear the music and just to hear the preacher preach., we go to praise ,worship God so we can connect with God, experience utterance (a word from God) and fellowship....
Prophetic word from God is personal..

Dana - I hear you! I lost my brother from massive stroke, been caring for mother 79 with 5 strokes and now I have extremely high blood pressure heading in the same direction.... I'm just learning to praise God in the midst of our trials and tribulations where I used to fuss, cuss and complain.... God hears you and will give the grace and mercy to live thru it - even though it's hard, troubling and painful.... the Lord bless you with peace, and God is greater than your circumstances! This is the time to run To God, not from Him...Praise God almighty!

I am going through my own Goliath it’s been months but I’m realizing that I am trying to hold onto stuff that god doesn’t want me to and I am trying to take the remote from god in my life when I need to just leave things to him and trust in him. I am very soon to be an X targeted Individual! The Lord has a set time and day for my delieverance. I can't wait. It's been very hard. Never saw or experienced anything so evil. But! The good news is!? I took the devil on with the mustard seed of faith I had. And, the Lord saw fit to give me the Victory!!! God is good, And although I didn't understand him and felt baffled by him allowing almost 2 years of horrible torment. I made it. I just prayed. "Thu WILL BE DONE!" I've come a long way slowly but, surely! My testimony will shake the gates of helll and send demons running for cover. The GREAT I AM IS WITH ME, and I KNOW IT! There is none like him! I loved this sermon. It has all the information / confirmations I needed to hear! TRUST IN GOD. Just trust. And, when you slip up and your faith fails you? Dust off and start again! I keep reminding myself that God is Good. Regardless of my circumstances. God's character is not based on my circumstances. That's who he is.
If I woke up tommorow and decided to become an alcoholic for the next give years, and neglect my kids; it doesn't make me less of a Father. That part won't change. It would definitely make me a HORRIBLE Father, but the fact that I'm a Father doesn't change.
Regardless of our circumstances, God is still good. That will never change.

What became of your journey?
For the last 3.5 years I've been dealing and struggling with ssa, living with the same sex partner. Miraculously, God gave me the courage after those few years of prayer, and I ended it the relationship. I thought the crisis was over but it has only just begun. The feelings of doubt, unworthiness, insecurities, anxiety all came to the surface and instead of letting God take control I tried to do things my way and made a mess. It has felt like things went too far out of reach for God. I focused too much on the evil my ex partner caused and lost sight of God. I've listened to few of Tony's sermons now and have realized my mistakes, I need to give God control again and thank him before the crisis is solved. He brought me this far, I'm not giving up yet and God hasn't given up on me yet.
He will not give up on you! Romans 8!!! Trust Him only, your identity is in Christ Jesus!!

My husband has left me after cheating on me and I feel like I'm in a very similar position to you. He has done EVERYTHING he can to try and hurt me, to try and make me suffer. I've been focusing too much on the evil he's done. I need to give God control again and thank Him because what if He's being merciful by pulling me out of that relationship? What if He knows it would have turned worse somehow? I don't know what God knows. But I trust that He knows best. Much love to you, friend. I hope your situation clears up soon!

My life at this time is in a crisis, after a long night of not been able to sleep - getting in and out of bed praying, crying and not knowing what to do about my crisis. Well after not knowing what to do I decided to listen to something good and came across this message - Wow! its inspiring, uplifting, encouraging and now I will take this message and apply it to my crisis.

My beautiful daughter has numerous physical conditions she has been battling with. Sadly for the past 6 months she has been in constant pain. 7 hospitals and no relief due to the lack of appropriate pain medications needed for her level of pain. She is 28 years old and was baptized 3 weeks ago. She loves the Lord and is very long suffering. We are heartbroken to see her in this cycle of pain and illness. Please pray! She has been anointed and many have prayed for her. I can’t bare this as her mother! 🥺

I listen to many other great preachers on the radio: Charles Stanley, David Jeremiah, Erwin Lutzer, etc. What is different about Tony Evans (not that I want to diminish the others' gifts) is that he seems to have received great understanding about how it all comes together.

+eveningcook well, if God knows all things, knows how everything will affect everything into the future and if he is good, or moral, which the christian God claims to be, then it would be very wise to trust Him, to rely on him, even through our darkest moments. The christian God claims to respond to prayer unless it conflicts with his will and the bible shows examples of that, and if those are true events, then they become examples for us. Now, christians believe the events in the old testament actually happened because Jesus approved of and referred to those documents. They believe Jesus because of various reasons, one being the historical evidence behind his life, death and resurrection which are actually incredibly compelling. That being said, there is an enormous amount of information on this topic and all topics involved with God that describe this much more clearly and relationally than I ever could. The christian God wants us to go to him and have relationship with him, and that includes giving him our concerns and troubles. For me, I find that the better my relationship is with him, the more I trust him with my concerns, the more he comforts me and delivers me and brings me joy. Instead of panic I may find myself feeling at peace, instead of worrying, I may be thanking him for all the blessings big and small around me. Instead of seeking revenge, i trust that he will do what is right even if I dont agree with the outcome, because his knowledge is greater than mine, his power is greater than mine, his goodness is greater than mine, his judgment is greater than mine, and his love is greater than mine. Yes bad things happen and people do die, but he has the power to restore life and says that he will do so. The entire world changes upon believing in him. Relying on him brings me so much peace and joy and love, it is priceless once you experience it. Looking back to my days of not believing in him, I was so skeptical, so unwilling to listen, so hard-hearted and arrogant. What God offers is so beautiful and incredible amidst this fallen world.

+eveningcook First of all, killing is not wrong in a world without God. God is who gives us individual, intrinsic worth. Without God, killing a person would be no more wrong than killing a bug, mouse, fish etcetera. Secondly, I would never kill anyone because I believe in God's moral law. God made physical laws, spiritual laws and moral laws that govern this world we inhabit. One of the moral laws he made was thou shalt not kill.
Jesus never had sex with his mom, that is grossly inaccurate. No idea where you came up with that from. You pointed out many murders that mankind has committed. I agree all of those murders were wrong, they go against God's moral law, they were all sinful acts and anger God greatly. They go against everything Jesus taught, to love one another. I found it strange that you did not mention the tens of millions killed by atheists in these last 120 years (hitler,stalin,pol pot, cambodia etc). In fact. If you took all the numbers murdered in the prior centuries combined, it pales in comparison to the numbers killed in the name of nonbelievers in these last 120 years.
My point was, if there is no God, and we are just matter, with no purpose, cells with no ultimate worth, all accidents doomed to die someday and disappear from existence, we are equal to the other living things in value. If God does exist, and gives us value because we are made in his image, then it is easy to recognize that killing is wrong. As for anyone God has killed or allowed to die, like i said in earlier posts, he has promised to restore those lives. I cannot take a life because I cannot restore that life.

I can't start my day without listening to Dr Tony Evans. I've been stressed so much and was on antidepressant then slowly started listening to Dr Evans and this slowly spoke to my heart and I am feeling real good now. Hood has blessed my through this wonderful preacher.

Im in no crisis as of the moment. But every time I was in need of God he provided a way. This video, although not solving any situation or crisis for myself now, will at least remind me that God will be there with me and continue to provide a way out. Im very thankful other people understand and are able to teach the bible in different ways for us to understand just as well too.
