2 months ago I was listening to David Jeremiah and he mentioned a wonderful preacher by the name of Tony Evans. I felt prompted to look him up. I since have listened to him everyday, twice a day and in my opinion is right up there with Billy Graham. Thank you Tony for improving my life in Jesus Christ.

Tony Evans-- I have listened to him since the 1990s. He is still a dynamic teacher in the Word. But I must say... this is the BEST lesson on prayer I have heard!! I'd be very embarrassed to admit I feel praying is boring but when Evans finished his hour, I was ready! I know I now have blessings I need to activate the way he instructed. Ask Him for what you want. Of you want to be closer to Him, ask Him to help you. He certainly won't deny you that - as a matter of fact it's definitely available to you. He's ALREADY provided it to you - you have to make the next step. Start to walk in obedience to Him. If you want to be closer to Him, all you have to do is start to spend time with Him. Read your bible, believe what it says and live according to what it says. I knew that I needed to read my bible more, but was VERY difficult to commit like I should until I heard a prominent pastor say to ask God to help you with such. I prayed and God to help me to learn to love His Word. He honored my prayer, now it's the most important part of Mr day. It's like breathing, I can't get enough of it. God is faithful like that.

I came too a friends house today & we were talking about spiritual warfare & doing a little Bible study. We had some gospel music playing on his computer & his wife came home & got on some website & walked away. Whatever website started playing annoying music over the gospel music. Well my friend got really annoyed & kinda snapped. So I prayed while they snapped at each other. The room got silent & kind of uncomfortable. I love his sermons. He explains things in a way that I never thought of, he's so uplifting. No matter how bad my day has been, how far I've fallen into my pit of dispare, my questions and uncertainty is always pushed aside and I find hope, peace, love, understanding, and clarity, with my Lord. I'm thankful I came across this message. It's amazing that I heard myself in this message. My testamonie is I had covid when it first started. I was so sick but I tried to continued to read at least one scripture of the bible each night and yes now that I look back my prayers were different. I talked to God about this virus I mean I really talked to God. He heard and pulled me through and then the devil attacked again 6 mos later with cancer. I now recognize that yes my prayers were different on both occasions. Once I was healed I fell back into my normal prayers. So in short I've got to step up my praying again. So thankful for the Lord.

Ask Him for what you want. Of you want to be closer to Him, ask Him to help you. He certainly won't deny you that - as a matter of fact it's definitely available to you. He's ALREADY provided it to you - you have to make the next step. Start to walk in obedience to Him. If you want to be closer to Him, all you have to do is start to spend time with Him. Read your bible, believe what it says and live according to what it says. I knew that I needed to read my bible more, but was VERY difficult to commit like I should until I heard a prominent pastor say to ask God to help you with such. I prayed and God to help me to learn to love His Word. He honored my prayer, now it's the most important part of Mr day. It's like breathing, I can't get enough of it. God is faithful like that.

Prayer is a daily work and can be hard at times. We can make it hard by allowing the devil to discourage us from practicing it on a daily bases. But we can rely on GOD'S way of helping us to do in a decent manner because he helps us to counter act the Enemies tactics.

I'm thankful I came across this message. It's amazing that I heard myself in this message. My testamonie is I had covid when it first started. I was so sick but I tried to continued to read at least one scripture of the bible each night and yes now that I look back my prayers were different. I talked to God about this virus I mean I really talked to God. He heard and pulled me through and then the devil attacked again 6 mos later with cancer. I now recognize that yes my prayers were different on both occasions. Once I was healed I fell back into my normal prayers. So in short I've got to step up my praying again. So thankful for the Lord.
Pray without ceasing, during the good times and the bad. A prayer can be two words “please help”, “thank You Jesus” or many words. Just give it all to the Lord; Praises and requests to our Heavenly Father.
