I don't understand how she's on AIR 15. Like seriously? There're 1000 times better candidates I've watched with lower ranks than her. I mean watch Saloni Verma & then watch this, dil hi uth jaata hai UPSC se. Saloni is on 70 rank & she's 15. Hadd hai.!
Written exam marks matters a lot in this exam. Interview is just the smallest part in this whole process ...if I'm not wrong saloni maam written mark is 790 where as ria s is 859...just see the difference... So ria wouldn't have cleared this exam with such a good rank if her written exam mark was 790 or average mark....(her interview mark is average) There are many deserving candidates in rank 80s and 90s that we go unnoticed in terms of personality that we feel should be there in top 10 or 20... But written exam marks is the game changer But no offense ria maam answer writing skill might be extraordinary
If we would go by your assumption, I think this would the dumb criteria to judge the capability of a person, ria maybe not be a good speaker but I can assure she is a insanely hardworking person and at the end of day our society needs sincere committed individuals not any singers that you propose.

Yeah, no doubt she must have had worked hard strictly with the syllabus(only), but she lacks in all other qualities (FROM MY PERSONAL STANDPOINT). She didn't even know about the State she CHOSE, I mean even I know the districts of most of the states( & I'm in grad., even not a CSE aspirant). [Even Sarthak Agrawal is below her in rank, huh] In a nutshell, I just opine of her of being lucky to get that rank, otherwise she doesn't seem one in a million candidates. :)

If you come to Arunachal Pradesh(lohit ) we don't have a private college ,we don't have private higher secondary school and students passing from govt school, you can't expect them to qualify in tough competitive exams. These interviewer panel are all expert excellence, gentle, professional humble far better than dristi one ,because 1 or 2 interviewer are not fit to be an interviewer in drishti.

@@poojatripathi222 there s a thing called percentage of reservations.. if they are getting reservation then at the same time they have low vacancy thus high competition.. also m not a beneficiary of any quota due to creamy Layer thing so don't add this point in ur further arguments ..

I am 2004 Batch IAS officer Rank 17 - Compare to now a days interview those days were very challenging and less resources were there and Panel was extremely tough, Even at that time I was also shocked - How did I get through my Final interview.

If you come to Arunachal Pradesh(lohit ) we don't have a private college ,we don't have private higher secondary school and students passing from govt school, you can't expect them to qualify in tough competitive exams. Coz here, there's no sincere teacher who would come and teach in a regular manner. That's what I meant. General students face this problem but we have more serious problems in the education system.
