And believe it or not I just started my first Ladder character. Enjoying the fresh start. I don’t blame you for showing all the gear you have, you earned it. Thank you for what you do.
I have one with Infinity Marc Spear as well and yes just like you mentioned...she demolished everything within her sight without traces lol. Btw Highlord's in amulet slot will boost her aspd further as well as light resist. I also love Enigma on her for the FRW and MF but yeah, CoH needed for her crappy resistances.
This was my main char from season 3 and overall the best i have overall. Mine is basically setup the same with some small tweaks here and there for general gameplay. Name, more rez, more ias slightly less damage but that doesn't matter for the most part. Everything will vaporize. Havent punched it into maxroll recently but charged strike can deal over 300K per sec!!! -Merc-act 1 w faith, coh and cure. -Char- I think you nailed it that with griffons you need COH unless you have perfect small charms. Ill use this for uber tristam only. -For general pvm, i go enigma and kiras. Massive all res and frees you up from ravenfrost. Could facet kiras but i keep a ptopaz in for more mf. and I dont think the added damage is really necessary. -Since more ias is needed, highlords is my ammy. -on swap i have cta and phoenix shield. both are wildly unnecessary, i could easily just use pots and you'll slay everything so fast the added life and mana doesnt make or break the build. And if going COH and griffons, naj's puzzler would be a find choice here. For value, dont sleep on thunderstrokes. Used T-strokes with a dual plague merc until i got infinity and while slower you'll still rip through the game.
Love this one. Lot's of fun. Even if you're on a budget and struggling with resistances you can slap on a Spirit shield or P Diamond Moser's and just poke enemies with a Thunderstroke or Titan's revenge.
Hey can I make the infinity in a mancatcher and have success with the build, or would the plus skills on a mat spear make a big enough difference to hold off on making it.
btw if you really want to go nuts with this you can build a jav amazon on swap with a phoenix shiled and a standart infinity merc and on the other hand you wield an infinity and that way you have two infinity and a hybrid javazon/infinity spearazon ...little expensive but I've build mine like that over many months and it just wrecks in any situation. ive tried this but ended up giving infinity to the merc and staying javazon (thankfully used mancatcher ) Javazon with engima and swap to wiz spike for teleporting is the fastest 1-99 char ive ever made, u will want level 42 + fury for players 8, similar gear to yours tho
Aaaaaaaah! You forgot Thunderstroke in the budget section. Could you add a text overlay note in the video? Tstrokes have -light rez and are sooo much easier to get than facets/griffons.
So the entire idea behind this build, to use Infinity as a self use item. So the reason I didn't give any budget options for weapons because the character was designed around that item.
I have to say I love all of ur analytical post and theory craft vods with some of the things u put together even though I don't play like u at all. It's a great look into percentages and a different side of the coin to look at. What I mean by I don't play like u is that when I make my builds. They are builds that are built around MF gear meaning builds that are the perfect combination of resist, life, and enough damage to still be able to kill and survive while having a decent amount of Mf like 300 or so. The reason I do that is b/c generally ur char is already at a decent lvl to where ur not really killing to lvl anymore and just going around killing Monsters with all the best gear on without Mf'ing in mind to me is pointless. If u already have all the best gear and dont need to really lvl then ur basically just playing the char just to play it and have no real other purpose. I need a reason to get out there and kill shit. Am I lvling or am I Mf'ing. Also it is always a challenge to find that sweet spot between survivability and MF gear. Too much MF and u probably wont survive very long or be able to kill nearly as fast and too little of MF u may as well have your best Gear on instead for quicker kills. Anyhow love what u do. love the new segment u put in with these fav builds. Keep up the great work and keep smiling!
First 200% is more than enough Magic Find, anything past that gets hit by massive diminishing returns. Second all of the characters I build can be outfitted with MF gear, Gheeds, MF Small Charms, mf amulets, MF Gloves/ Boots with minimal impact on the characters overall output. What is my target farming spot, what player count am I shooting for ect. Characters are generally balanced around what they are farming and kill speed. Basically what I am getting at is this, it's unrealistic to build a character around a specific MF Percentage. What you want to do is Target a Specific kill Speed. If your kill speed drops too much adding in an extra 100% MF than you gotta dial it back. If your kill speed is unaffected you can instead dial it up, add more MF until the kill speed is affected. On top of this Zero MF Characters are not useless creatures. #1 Runes don't care about MF and Clear speed is more important when rune farming. #2 MF actively hurts base farming and bases can be extremely valuable. Like a 45 all res eth sacred Targe, or a 4 socket eth mancatcher with 15% ed. #3 charms are unaffected by MF as well. And clear speed increases charm farming. #4 Experience is all about clear speed, so if you are trying to hit 99 as fast as possible Magic find isn't a priority damage is. #5 Uber Tristram and Uber Diablo are about reliably clearing a difficult zone and magic find has no effect there as neither The Ubers, nor Uber Diablo are affected by MF. #6 stacking Magic find to the moon and back has little overall increases in drop chance past 200% even MF as low as 100% has a huge impact on drops. But anything over 200 is affected by severe diminishing returns. Which means any build can easily work in a bare minimum of Magic find and still MF effectively.
@@GGMentor Well I already knew all of that and knew that MF had diminishing returns. which is why I always laugh when people post videos with 700-800 mf. Thunderstroke has -Lightning Res
Ormus' Robes has +Lightning damage
Stoneraven has +3 skills and a ton of all res
Arioc's can have +4 skills and a pretty fast attack speed
3/3 lightning facets are basically given away and can be thrown in something like a Headhunter's Glory if you're using TStrokes
