I agree with you about the premise of this movie being cool. The Predators (or Yautjas) testing themselves by bringing the best or most violent people from Earth and from different cultures. Different cultures, different ways to fight.
Regarding memorable scenes definitely the Yakuza vs the Predator.
I didn’t dislike this movie, but that’s the only praise I can give it.

I enjoyed this one. Even if Predators movies fail from time to time, it’s still exciting when the monsters enter the building! Love the review!
More entertaining than I expected.The premise was fun and Brody and Braga were good together. Not the best Predator movie but definitely better than some of the subsequent movies.
I really enjoyed this movie and appreciated what Robert Rodriguez tried to do it wasn't the best Predator movie made but it had a lot of heart indifferent kind of lore that we had never seen before I really appreciate your reviews keep up the solid work

I pretty much agree with everything you said on this one. Probably still my second favorite of the series (though another rewatch of Prey might change that.) I'm a big lore fan in my favorite IPs and as you said, the premise of the game preserve planet and the addition of yautja tribes, etc were a lot a fun. And the cast is not only pretty accomplished but none of their performances feel phoned in to me, feels like everyone was into their roles. I do agree, maybe a few less characters would have streamlined it further. Fun movie though for what it is, and great review as always, I can imagine hearing that kid say "Samuel L. Jackson" was hilarious 😆
