Momoka makes fun of Nina for being from a small town, but Momoka's home town is even smaller than Nina's. Also, it's interesting that Momoka is from the northern most island and Nina is from the most southern island of Japan.

Rina, the voice actor for Nina, is only 16 and does an amazing job. Nina reminds me of a baby animal that needs help, but when you try to help it, it bites you.

Nina has a lot of issues relating to her past that she has to work through. There's more to Nina's painful back story than you see in this episode. You see more details about what happened to her in the past as the series progresses.
Yes, KB I've finished watching the series, enjoyed it. Just hope they decided to do another season. Oh and you guessed correctly. you see them in the opening song and some of the early episodes but won't be introduced to the bass and keyboard band members until a later episode.
