Very objective yet complete content! Thanks Capko. I wonder, would you mind recording a video on a more real approach calculation? For example, what if I purchase a bond after its emission date ( secondary market) with a rate different from emission and sell it before its maturity. That is a stressed scenario but pretty common among investors.

Hello Prof. thanks for the helpful videos I really appreciate it, I am wondering if the c12 has the ability to calculate Macaulay duration as the BAII do so

Yes, you can use the HP12C to calculate the Macaulay duration. That will have to be the subject of another video if you are interested.

A video shows that the Professor brought a now HP 12C 9 monthes ago.And at this video, after two monthes of the last video, the caclulator's screen had a minor crevice. So the quality of the new type caculaor is horrible. So I am hesitating about cancel my new order of the HP 12C on Amazon, and there have no other products can use(I don't like the press feeling of the BAII plus).

Thank you for your comment. There is no crevice on the screen. What you may be seeing is an artifact of the video's lighting.

Error 8 usually means a calendar format issue. Make sure you are entering the dates in the correct format. I hope that helps.
