He really did something that is extremely difficult he fought extream tribalism and won. It seems so rare now a days for a diverse country to do this and succeed. We all need to learn from Tanzanian history.
Mzee John Magufuli Pombe, Mzee Hassan Mwinyi and Kikwete Jakaya are the best presidents of Tanzania for me as a Ugandan🇺🇬. They were not hypocrites and I respect them so very much!!!

You don't know what you are talking about, those presidents you have mentioned cannot untie the shoes of Nyerere. You seem to have not learnt history, Nyerere fought for independence of many countries in the southern of Africa, to name them, Angola, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and South Africa. He gave them land to train themselves in Tanzania, and most of Presidents in those countries lived in Tanzania as freedom fighters. And that costed a substantial amount of money to Tanzania. In some countries he sent Tanzanian troops to fight, so much of Tanzanian blood has been shed in some of those countries. If you don't know something always ask first, don't talk, otherwise you will not learn. Nyerere was respected everywhere, he was the leader of South South Comission to address the problems of countries in the southern hemisphere in late 80s. He went round the world uniting those countries in the south of equator which are poor to confront the north which are rich, to change their exploitive systems that force the countries in the south to be extremely poor.
So do your homework well before you conclude in politics, you will learn. I hope you have learnt something. Mwalimu is highly respected here in Tanzania, we call him Baba wa Taifa which translates father of the nation.

I pray that Africa be blessed with these great minds,to this day i am sure we could have archived much on Unity than today,the great man was fully committed together with the likes of Samora Machel and others to the independence of Zimbabwe.The struggle for Zimbabwe was so eventful for the years that our nationalists fought with serious support from these our African Heroes,otherwise without their unity of purpose,Africa could have been a faceless continent today,may their soul rest in peace and their spirit be with us,their inspiration to our generation is much needed in us
