It’s really amazing to see that apartment buildings of all places have elevators like these to this day. You’d think they would be all modern and inviting to the tenants. But instead, beauties like this still exist keeping history more alive than ever!

In my experience it's actually the opposite. Apartment buildings seem to typically modernize quite a bit less often than office buildings.
