Love the details on the HEV zombie, including his flashlight. would like to hear some chatters of the HEV talking just like the zombine, maybe a quote saying "warning detected infection" something like that.

Hunter Judging by the video, bullets will bounce off the HEV suit. Since Gordon has a shotgun (and more weapon) these HEV zombie won’t be a problem.

Not really, since their suit is just the design of the Mark IV, Four, from the 2012 mod version. Still makes some sense, though.
There could be multiple models and variants of the Mark IV. Perhaps Gordon's suit is made for facility work and these ones are made for borderworld navigation.
The people have been there for a long time and had old suits but then they upgraded it

getting killed is way more better than being constantly in pain since headcrab keeps the host alive no matter what.it must be painful to lose half of your head and getting your chest ripped off though.

HEV, or should I say, ZEV, look amazing! The bullet proof armor will be a fun game mechanic, and the flashlight being constantly on looks great as well!

I’ve seen a different video with the HEV zombies (always wanted them!) but using the enhanced lighting the Black Mesa team developed and it looks amazing
Wait a second, HEV suit zombies? Those didn't exist in the original Half-Life!
Neither did security guard and soldier zombies (latter ones in OpFo), I think it's a nice touch to see these old folks running around and not simply lying there like in the original HL.
Speaking of the security guard zombies and soldier zombies, they should have been in more than one game.

It looks pretty great overall.
Zombies in HEV's are good, but I think it would've been better if they could run like the zombines from Half-Life 2 (HEV suit does boost the player's speed afterall).
But I really hope that they'll reuse Half-Life 1 ambient sounds for the Xen levels. That ambient sound at 1:35 sounds more like a generic jungle ambience than like an alien world.
Nahh that should've been the HECU zombies, would make more sense if one of the grunts pulled out a frag grenade and tried to kill itself.
@YayDude123 Why? there's no reason for them not to be slightly bulletproof and pull out a grenade, they have KEVLAR.

those are corpses that have died a long time ago and havae been found by headcrabs and infected. probably...
Bell AH-1 Supercobra well, as you can see. The HEV members might get into a war between these creatures and some of them might get their helmet destroyed during the war or dead and the headcrab might take over their host.

That xen ambience is really nice
I was expectating the HEV Zombie to have some chatters, like when you hit him: *"vital signs are droppoing"* or *"warning, user death imminent"* and their death sound would be the same as the player's one.
There are the processor of Zombine. Except Combine haven't invaded Earth just yet.

H.E.V. Zombie = the Processor of the Zombine from Half-Life 2 Episodic. Due to the armor covered at the chest. Making it very hard to kill only way to damage will be it head.

I took the liberty of installing the beta? And yes. HEV Zombies are not to be fucked with. Their armor is hella strong and even when shooting the Headcrab? It's still a pain to kill

An HEV Zombie and Grappling hook is where I draw the line in terms of remake and remaster,this game is now a remake.
So the guard and soldier zombies didnt count?
They are considered canon. I believe they are in Blue Shift. Opposing force is not canon because it alters many aspects of the universe.
HECU zombies arnt in Blue Shift, and Opposing force is considered canon, but Marc Laidlaw doesnt think Race-X or some of the weapons from the game fit in with the HL universe leaving opposing force in a state of being both non-canon and canon at the shame time.
I see they managed to re-create the skybox with the 2 stars.

I'm confused on the H.E.V. Zombies.. Gordon wears no H.E.V. helmet, yet headcrabs still can't latch on to his head. While other scientists are wearing the helmets yet the headcrabs manage to dig through the helmet and latch on to the head and eat half the brain.

So bullets bounce off a HEV suit but freeman can still be damaged by a head crab hmm and how did a head crab turn someone in a HEV suit into a zombie in the first place I mean they're wearing a helmet made with the same material as the suit.

you know you can actually spawn the hev zombie npc if you type in console npc_create npc_zombie_hev but you have to type sv_cheats 1 first of course

The only problem i got with the video, its that you used the Word "leak" for clickbait.
Im confused. If bullets ricochet off of HEV suits as seen from that HEV zombie you were shooting, how come it does not work on Gordon when he gets shot up by bullets?
Captain Beckett The zombie still takes damage from the bullet even though the bullets don't penetrate (You can see it in this video, the bullet that killed the first one hit the suit). That's probably also the case for Gordon. You know, the energy of the bullet and all that.
Just imagine if this game had some challenging thingy where head crab could actually possess you like the other security, HECU or scientists or maybe a difficulty for it
