I just finished rebuilding your redesigned Sisuphus MOC. It looks and functions even better than the original version ! I also added some headwear for the minifigs : Zeus has a long beard (6132) , Sisyphus on chariot has a 'Rohan' helmet (10054) and Thanatos has spiky devilish hair (62699). Keep making these awesome MOCs ! Greetz from Belgium
I recently finished my bricklink order and im waiting on the last remaining pieces & im even more excited to purchase the additional pieces to build both variants of the update model. Keep it up! Thanks again! I also sourced all the clockworks heart for an amazing vday gift (credit was given to you of course). & coincidentally she also favored your lego book model on lego ideas!
This is so cool! He would take the *wait of the world* to push it up but he is a *child of man!* He would *come forth* and climb the mountain like a legend. If doing boring things were fun he *wouldn't regret a second of it* at all. Either way there is only *futile struggle* and if he could his life would *begone* and he would die. Only Sisyphus would be imagined to be happy.
When you showed those clicky hinges, I thought to myself, man I used to have a bunch of those from my lego star wars sets when I was a kid... And then you said that the price for them are now 24 dollars... and I spit out my drink. My parents really should not have thrown them out.
dude as a rower, it'd be awesome to see like a standard 8 seat boat rowing all-8 and the coxon like moving a megaphone or something and water splashing up around it that'd be lit
I was thinking : “who on Earth does that guy think he is announcing in such a nonchalant manner ‘improvements’ to this wonderful model?” Until I realised you were the gentleman who created the wonderful original in the first place!
@@just88 or you could just buy a lepin knock off version of this for just $60 USD... Jason doesn't mind since he provides the instructions on his website free of charge.
just google lepin sisyphus 23017 and click on ali express. it will be the older model of sisyphus, but still beats paying $500 dollars plus for lego version of this.
I have now purchased and constructed the motorized model of this, it was a very enjoyable build, that was also the first time I've ever built a Lego Ball, that by itself was quite the moment.

This is fucking awesome! Well then again I am a fan of just silly little movement objects, like the office clanking ball thing, it is just cool to watch.
Hi, both models look great and I like the improvements, but I think one thing is better in the old model: the horse on the side. Because on the old model the hooves and the mouth look different, on the new model the three parts kinda look the same and that makes the horse look really odd. Other than that a really cool model! :)
Believe I may of seen a contraption like this in operation when I bumped into you at Brickvention 2017 in Melbourne Australia! Though a real challenge could be to try engineering a system that allows a cube unit structure to move through a 3D grid of rails and to be able to go anywhere within the grid! It’s possibly something that’s almost impossible but may be possible with a well engineered mechanism! :)
I would like to see a sloped version. Make it look as if he is trying to push it uphill like the myth.

A vast improvement getting rid of that black rod, as it obscured and detracted some of the beauty of the Sisyphus' movement.
