This just shows that even if a person isn't really doing asmr, if she's just passionate and concentrated about whatever subject she's talking about, it's just pure gold. I'm here listening to her and my eyes are just dropping. And it's not because it's boring, I learned more about colors in the first minutes of this video than in the 39 years of my life. She's not even trying and she's putting me right to sleep. I'm going to put this one and the feet reflexology one in a playlist and just loop them forever

Our professor for photoshop said it once, olive is a dark yellow. I now opened procreate and drew yellow with dark grey, it became olive. So mixed with a dull or dark color ist different from bright yellow.

But 'olive' skin toned people are more cool ,right? Their overtone is yellow over grey/blue undertones which is what makes them appear green - olive oil looking....

@@ingridpear1882right, that’s what i’ve been learning. but there’s a lot of different opinions about cool vs. warm olives. i’m not sure exactly where i fall yet, but there are people who consider themselves warm or neutral olive. i’m guessing when someone has more greyish tones in the undertone it creates more of that grey olive tone opposed to a more dominant blue undertone where it creates a greener tone? i’ve seen posts where people compare it to chameleons, asking “what type of olive are you?”.. the more muted blue grey type or the brighter green type 😆
i’ve been trying so hard to understand my skin tone. i’ve been continuously going down many rabbit holes of confusion 🤣

I actually had a feeling she was light spring from the start, at least spring because of her light features. I guess watching so many of these types of videoes pays off:)
im still trying to figure where Im at in the summer scale though. The palest most muted is a no go I think.
I feel Im a light summer but not sure I fit in to that according to the scale, according to hair and eyes. If you tan or not.
Anyways, this is not about me😅. This analysis was very well done. It’s not rushed and she definitely got the right season and going through it showing so many drapes also helps the client to see it and will remember which colors were really a no go. Going through your closet it can get difficult if you own a lot of things in the wrong colors. Maybe easiest to get rid of things that are just totally way off and keep the things that are ok-ish.
    Edit:
I wrote this before she delved into clothes from her closet. That was really interesting. :)

My tips when deciding the right colours for someone nowadays are:
    1. Spring people will ooze natural and healthy peachy to peach orangey glow when draped with spring colours.
    2. Summer people will ooze natural and healthy whitey to pearly glow when draped with summer colours.
    3. Autumn people will ooze natural and healthy bronze to golden glow when draped with autumn colours.
    4. Winter people will ooze natural and healthy icy to silvery glow when draped with winter colours.
It's always about a natural glow and aesthetic. If the target spring, summer, autumn, or winter glow and aesthetics were not reflected on that person after being draped with the specific seasons' respective colours, then that season could be eliminated in the process. This tips help me a lot when deciding which subseason is the right one for someone. It also helps a lot to decide whether a person could borrow some colours from other season or not.
For example, Taylor Swift could ooze the natural glow of both spring and autumn when wearing the colours from both seasons respectively. She's an example of a Warm Spring that could also wear Warm Autumn colours beautifully.
Anyway, love this video 😊. There are a lot to learn from the process and it's very helpful. Kudos to the efforts to record this. A lot of thanks from me :)
The lady in the vid is a True Spring though. It's a rare case where all the subseasons in one season all look equally good on someone. She's just a True Spring if we refer to the 16 seasonal system. She can wear all the spring colours but is not bordering with any other seasons aside spring.

Hey there, I just stumbled across this video and found it very interesting to see a consultation of someone else who has the same seasonal color palette as I do (I feel like light spring isn't portrayed as much on social media as e.g. soft autumn or soft summer). What I find really fun besides the effect colors have on our skin: I do have light brown/golden specs in my iris (on top of warm blue). As soon as I saw my colors next to my face, I saw my eyecolor change to a clear aquatic shade whereas summer colors make my eyes look like very dirty river water on a rainy day. Even when I do my eyebrows too ashy, I can see that my eyes look less vibrant. Before I got my colors done, I was falsly thinking I was a summer for the most part of my life and always felt the need to add color to my complexion because the summer colors really make me look dull, tired, grey and un-well. That's why I thought I was too muted for any type of spring. Oh how wrong I was. Thank you for putting this video up, I still learned a lot, it's a pure gem within all the short, confusing, incomplete and therefor often misleading information spread across the internet. 💛

I always wonder why they make you cover your hair colour if it’s not natural. Like, surely they should be trying to find the colours that suit you as you are currently? For example, I’m naturally very pale and dark haired, but I fake tan and dye my hair red so surely what would suit me with my natural colouring might not work when that’s been altered? Or do your preferred colours suit you regardless of if you change your hair colour or not?
