Merry Christmas! I have to say u found your channel pretty recently. And I enjoy your content because its makes me want to play everyday. Plus every loss you get makes me feel a lot better about of mine current elo 1100
Thank you for the videos man, I never comment on videos but want to let you know you’re appreciated from me. I’ve gone from 1000 to 1200 in the last few weeks (rookie numbers still) but you’ve definitely helped my personal climb. Have a good Christmas
9:10 Because Rd8 attacks your queen and you lose the knight on d4 after. Whereas if you put the queen on c6 to attack the rook the same way, then the enemy rook cannot attack the queen from c8. But on Rd8 it can. To conclude, you save the piece by counterattack and making sure he cant respond with a counterattack of himself.
This game represents the "good" side of not-thinking. In my videos, I use the phrase "Spidey senses", which can be quite helpful. There is potential a DARK side to this technique, though. So, you gotta be VERY careful. Good WIN, in the end!
It seems like you rarely have a plan and end up reacting to your opponent moves instead of taking initiative. Especially with white it’s really important to create threats. Beyond these one-move threats that are extremely easy to respond to. You just have no plan in the middle game just making moves hoping for ur opponent to blunder.
