What brand cutters are these? Model numbers would be helpful, too. Thanks. Sarah
Links to the flush cutters I show in the video are at my blog post, which is linked in the description box.
What are semi-flush cutters?
That's a good question, as I hadn't heard the term before. After looking into it I think they are the same thing as flush cutters. This phrase clarifies what the cutters can do.
Since there are folks who don't understand how the cutting action works, and expect both pieces of cut wire to have flush ends (which simply isn't possible, unless you use a saw to cut them) they've changed the term to "semi-flush."
This more clearly indicates that one wire will have a flush cut end and one will not.
If I'm mistaken, let me know!
@@SandyHuntress Jesse James Beads speaks of this tool, in her video Nightmare before Christmas Earring Tutorial. It's around the 27:50 mark. She shows how to make your own jump rings, that are evenly cut on both ends.
I just questioned her about this tool and where to find it.
