    Some have said Mufasa should have appeared sooner to Simba. But I feel the reason he didn't appear until then is because Simba was "looking" for him, seeking him out. Since his exile, Simba "turned his back on the world", essentially closing the door on getting guidance from his father. He needed to be trying to seek out Mufasa in order for him to finally appear.

    Now it makes sense why the rain suddenly came back when Simba did. Now its not so sad that he died, it wouldn't work if he was still alive in it.

      SilentHero are you saying scar made all of the water evaporate..? A savannah has dry season and wet season and Scar happened to become king a day before dry season, scars reign lasted for just about the whole season and when simba became king, dry season ended, with the help of the rain from mufassa.

    Ok so if Kion can see Mufasa...why couldn’t Simba see Ahadi?

    • @hannahskeldon7944
      @hannahskeldon7944 5 лет назад +29

      I think in Kion's case it's because he's the leader of the Lion Guard and the fact that he's still a cub so he needs guidance as the leader of the Lion Guard and to make sure that he won't become power mad like Scar did when he was the leader of the Lion Gaurd and I've been watching clips from the Lion Gaurd and I've noticed a few times that Simba has been able to speak to Mufasa too.

  • @BG-be8di
    @BG-be8di Год назад +10

    "He lives in you" was a great teaching of the movie.. And realizing it, I think Mufasa was always there taking care of Simba, even after he died, wherever he went: because it always seemed to me like a miracle Simba was able to escape from the hyenas after that high drop from the canyon; and that Timon and Pumbaa also appear and they take care of Simba for him; and when Simba needed someone to guide him, after so many years almost lost, he already appeared along with Rafiki, to make him reflect and remember who he is.. It is also interesting how he is still present as a spirit in The Lion King II and the Lion Guard.. The moments that I appreciate the most are: when he says "Remember" when he ascends to the throne, and when he says "well done, son, we are one" at the end of TLK 2,

    Um no, there is a quote Mufasa says when he is teaching Simba a lesson.
    Mufasa: Simba, look at the stars. The great kings of the past look down on us from those stars. One day the sun will set on my time here, and it will rise on you as the new king.
    Both of these scenes happen at night, and common sense tells you that Simba hasn't gotten over his father's death and that he also remembered the lesson that his father had taught him. It's simple psychology.

    I came up with a theory that even if Scar killed off Mufasa and Simba he still wouldn't be king because Sarabi was still queen plus Nala was air when she was to marry Simba plus as Nala's mom Sarafina would take over so Scar would have to kill not only Mufasa and Simba but also Sarabi,Nala,and Sarafina to be king
    Can you look into this theory please

    • @bensonbbarry2945

      melkins98 technically, Nala wasn't an heir, and how would Sarafina take over? Neither have the royal blood of Simbas family. Actually I take the blood part back; what I mean is, Simba is the ONLY heir to the throne

    Mufasa's ghost was based on Mose's story when God showed himself to Moses. So yes Mufasa indeed was there in spirit talking to Simba. The same thing happened in Land Before Time when Littlefoot's mother comes and helps him find The Great Valley, and Balto when the White Wolf spirit came to help Balto.

    Although Simba's father Mufasa has died, Simba is lucky that he can still sometimes contact his father as a spirit.
    It's so unfair for other characters who have lost both or one of their parents and their other loved ones who can't still sometimes contact their loved ones as spirits, I've at least had a whole lot of dreams about my dad probably because I said to him I wanted him to be in my dreams before his death as two signs that his spirit is still around me and there is something positive after death.

    I LOVE it!! All cultures have an explanation for the afterlife. There would have to be some kind of Disney Canna because Moana and Coco are some of the newer film exploring life after death. Yes, Lion King presented the African aspect as Mulan the Asian, and Brother Bear for Native North Americans. They represent how that culture embraces the afterlife. For example, Moana had to go to the Realm of Monsters to get Maui's fish hook. When she needed comfort, her grandmother appeared to her. Much like the Lion King, Simba needed to be reminded and Mufassah appeared to remind him with his vibrant voice..."remember WHO you ARE..." Mulan had no direct contact with her ancestors, Mushoo, did. Although, it seems he acted on his own self interest then to protect her. Kiani was transformed because he needed to see the affects of his actions on nature.

    I agree with you about Mufasa being a living spirit....what I've always wondered is WHY did he wait so long before revealing himself to Simba and telling him to stop living a life apart and reclaim his rightful place as King? Was it just because Simba needed to be an adult so he would have the strength and power to overthrow Scar and his minions after things got so bad? Or was it something more?

    Do the full story of Drake from The Pebble and the Penguin. Sure, he's not Disney, but he is one of my favorite villains. Drake is a penguin who's narcissistic, threatening, and sexually aggressive. But was he really evil(How did he become evil?)? And how did start fall in love with Marina

    • @starstrudel8417
      @starstrudel8417 7 лет назад

      As a kid, I always assumed that Drake wanted Marina because, simply, she was the "hottest" lady-penguin there, and he considered himself the "hottest" dude-penguin-- à la Gaston. Purely based on a "I'm hot, you're hot, therefore you deserve me" kinda thing. Lines up with that sexually aggressive vibe, too.

    Right on, dude I think yet again you've hit the nail on the head. This Theory is very well thought out, and very practical. And holds a lot of real truth to it. Although it is seen as an american Disney movie it does has a LOT of african culture in it.
    Thank you for bringing to light a lot of what I have seen, felt and thought for YEARS! RIGHT ON MAN! I LOVE YOU. Ur a kool dude(and kinda drky cute with an AWESOME and AMAZING voice)

    For those who actually like Mufasa, this theory really casts him in a horrible light. If correct, then this theory basically means that Mufasa purposely withheld rain to the point that his entire kingdom was on the verge of destruction, all because Simba wasn't on the throne. Let that sink in for a moment. One of Disney's most beloved characters was so vengefully petty, that rather than let his brother rule as king, Mufasa was willing to kill everything alive in his kingdom, including all his innocent animal subjects and his own lionesses. So much for respecting the delicate balance of the circle of life.

      Since Anakin is her father and he was conceived by the Force I think she did! Plus Luke mentioned it in ROTJ and you can tell also at the end of ESB that she can feel the Force and TFA she could sense that Han had been killed. So yes I really think she has the Force.

    Wotso Videos I believe that the reason why Mufasa was able to visit & guide Simba & speak through Rafiki & manipulate nature. Is because Mufasa is a Heaven bound soul & the spirits of the Ancestors from Mulan & the great Spirits of the Northern Lights from Brother Bear are also heaven bound. Therefore they share Mufasa's ability to guide their relatives or humanity Speak through Shamans & manipulate nature. It's their duty to do these things. Because God or the Supreme Deity they worship assigns this job to them.

    Fully believe my sister's spirit intervened when I needed her after she died. Sunshine aka Amber, she had a heart condition and passed in 2011. I know she visited me in a dream in 2012, saying "Are you prepared?", and waving a flashlight. This was in reference to being prepared for the Rapture of the church, and the flashlight is essentially the Bible, "Thy word is a lamp to my feet. so yes, reading the bible, is preparation for the rapture.

    This is very interesting and insightful. I had a thought today that we are supposed to detach ourselves from the world by realising that the world is not our reality as we believe it, rather heaven and afterlife are, and that, as Simba says, "we are one", even the same as the trees - even if we both speak english, we still have a different language, as we understand the same words differently, however we should try to understand them from the other person's point of view. With this thought, I believe I have truely found inner peace, I feel a lot happier, and it allows myself to separate myself from my thoughts and realities to have control of my emotions. Possibly by detaching ourselves, we can connect to spiritual beings, such as God and his angels, in a similar way to how Africans and Asians believe happens. Hope this whole thing makes sense.
