They shared the clothes, Tennant got the waistcoat, thermal undershirt and trousers and Ncuti got the underpants, shirt, socks and shoes. Clothes don't regenerate and at 7PM you can't divide by top and bottom half....
The Doctor was in the Confession Dial for 4.5 Billion years, The Face of Bo was 5 Billion years, Me stuck around to the end of the universe and then flew off in a Tardis. In Doctor Who context, Rorys 2000 years is nothing. Especially to a being that turned god into a Jack-In-The-Box.
The question I still have after watching the episode for 10 times at least is “If 14th Doctor existed for only a day after his regeneration of 13th, when and how exactly Toymaker was ably to play game with Master?” In the power of the doctor he was seemingly mortally wounded from his forced regeneration into Doctor and crushed in ruins of his cyberplanet. So, just right after Doctor leaves to regenerate, Master frees himself from the rubbles, sat in his Tardis, somehow found the Toymaker played the game with him and lost? And if in the end of the episode we getting the hinge that he would be freed from his tooth-prison does that mean that we will still see his Spy (Rasputin) incarnation?
The trend in New Who seems to have been a new Master for each Doctor (John Simm for 10, Michelle Gomez for 12, Sacha Dhawan for 13), so my guess is that RTD will be looking for a new actor (or actress!) to play the next Master.
just because the 14th existed for a day, doesnt mean the Master did. the Master could have existed for 200 years more and because its a time travel show you'd never know the difference.
@@Maeve_Rose can’t argue with that. Master started his “Dalek/Cyberman operation” in 1916 in Winter palace, but then he switched to 2022 where volcanoes should erupt and thus let that Daleks to take the planet. He was beaten in 2022 and was left on cyberplanet, while Doctor seems to be just teleported in space (not in time). So, she still in the same time as the dying master. So it is ether Master somehow found Toymaker in past in his Soho’s toy store (which is impossible because he was literally crushed under rubbles, his Tardis was broken because he used it to channel the regeneration energy thus “pushed his TARDIS right to the edge, burned out half his systems, marooned himself here”), OR he played the game with him in time period of 2022/2023 which means it still just hours since he lost to the Toymaker. The question is not when did it happened but how did it happened. Love the retcons from RTD, but this detail will need more explanation later

STUPID ! What every atom in his body suddenly duplicates itself ??? Plus the doctor did not outsmart the toy maker.
@@mrgcavTechnically, it actually is still following canon. Bigeneration, like the Fifteenth Doctor says, is impossible because its a myth. Apparently, the novelization of The Giggle goes on to confirm that the Fourteenth Doctor had only existed for just under 15 hours before he was shot with the laser. In Christmas Invasion, it is revealed that within the first 15 hours of regeneration, a time lord's body still contains enough leftover regeneration energy to heal any significant damage as well as regrow lost limbs. Because the Toymaker's entire existence is bound to and dictated by the rules of the game, the bigeneration probably happened because not only did the Toymaker's rules dictate that round 3 be played against 14's successor, but the Doctor was also still within his 15 hours after regeneration. This probably culminated in bigeneration being possible. The Toymaker's presence affects the reality around it and can make the impossible happen. The Toymaker accidentally causing bigeneration doesn't contradict anything.
Don't know how you'll fit the highlights in without showing the entire episode tbh

Yes
It wouldn't be a British TV show without a random African guy😂
Would've been hilarious if matt smith popped up instead of ncuti

Hey BBC, release 'Torchwood: Absent Friends'
The toy maker story was going well until they did the double fake regeneration thing. STUPID ! What every atom in his body suddenly duplicates itself ??? Plus the doctor did not outsmart the toy maker.
I‘m sorry, but David‘s puppy eyes at 8:16 😂😂
Jess Neil as the Toymaker , just perfection
Neil Patrick Harris...
wth is jess neil
Why isn’t he wearing any pants ? well trousers?
They shared the clothes, Tennant got the waistcoat, thermal undershirt and trousers and Ncuti got the underpants, shirt, socks and shoes. Clothes don't regenerate and at 7PM you can't divide by top and bottom half....
Because he let Tennant decide which clothes ended up on which Doctor.

Who else thought that laser was wired because it had no sound
That plus it didn't burn a gaping hole in either 14 or his attire.
such an amazing villain!
*the one who waits* Rory ?
The Doctor was in the Confession Dial for 4.5 Billion years, The Face of Bo was 5 Billion years, Me stuck around to the end of the universe and then flew off in a Tardis. In Doctor Who context, Rorys 2000 years is nothing. Especially to a being that turned god into a Jack-In-The-Box.

I feel like the best odds would be on Fenric, Omega, Sutekh, or the Valeyard being the One Who Waits.

The question I still have after watching the episode for 10 times at least is “If 14th Doctor existed for only a day after his regeneration of 13th, when and how exactly Toymaker was ably to play game with Master?”
In the power of the doctor he was seemingly mortally wounded from his forced regeneration into Doctor and crushed in ruins of his cyberplanet.
I imagine when we see Ncuti fight the master, it will be a regenerated version unless the original is still there! :)
The trend in New Who seems to have been a new Master for each Doctor (John Simm for 10, Michelle Gomez for 12, Sacha Dhawan for 13), so my guess is that RTD will be looking for a new actor (or actress!) to play the next Master.
I wish that 11 went up against the master@@retnavybrat
just because the 14th existed for a day, doesnt mean the Master did.
the Master could have existed for 200 years more and because its a time travel show you'd never know the difference.
So will the 14th Doctor lose all his regeneration powers? Because if he regenerates, that would be the 16th, but what if 15th also regenerates?

Puppet show? It turned into a meme and is a very funny and memorable part, and this best part compilation skips the puppet show? What a rip-off! /hj
The whole episode has become a Meme
@harryvideoz8863 i think you mean the whole show lol its been a meme since Peter capaldi got screwed over by having horrible writing and a horrible companion when he had such love for the franchise
@@XgoodbyeX what? Clara became great in season 8. Not to mention Bill could hold her own. What’s this bad writing thing you speak of?
Okay- I do think series 8 sucks, but 9 and 10!are far better.
I love how in the bi-generation, they each get half of the clothes.
Of course, that means the 14th Doctor is going commando for the game of catch...
The term "Going Commando" Means walking around without underwear. This is STUPID and violates all Cannon. The toy maker story was going well until they did the double fake regeneration thing. STUPID ! What every atom in his body suddenly duplicates itself ??? Plus the doctor did not outsmart the toy maker.
The bi regeneration should not have been a thing
@@StarRider587lowkey kinda genius writing there
@mrgcav regeneration is subject to so many retcons before this, so I don't get why _this_ particular change is the problem.
