    I really appreciate this video as it's not a fanboy video but a very honest video after real use. It's a great laser, but some people make it sound like it's perfect in every way and could never say anything bad about it. Keep doing what you're doing! Love the calm, honest, real working shop videos.

      Thanks as always Sir! This is a bit more 'fanboy' than other videos I do, but I am so impressed with the amount of work I can do without issue. But that damn fan....LOL Love to hear what your favorite (go to) laser is at the moment.

      Right now I’m getting a lot done with the XTool S1 and P2 combo on my bench. I like the extra width. I’d use the Atomstack A40 more but the dang fan is always on and loud.

    Thanks for the review. My almost 1 month review, I love my Lasermatic 30/10W. I just finished engraving a simple plaque for my pastor's B-day (his wife is one of my fans/customer). It's all wording, and I burned it with the 30W, and it turned out superior to what I was doing with my old laser.

    I've been using my Lasermatic 30 for a couple of months now, and I am really liking it. The only problem I've had is with the honeycomb bed being a bit off level. I flipped it over and noticed that some of the honeycomb pieces were in the way of the holes drilled on the back, preventing one corner from sitting all the way down on the registration pin. Once I pushed those pieces away from the opening with a screwdriver, everything was good.

    Good job on the video. Do you have multiple shops? The shop in the original MK2 review was huge as compared to the one in this video? Just curious.

    I can't think of a single person who would take any other laser once they have the LaserMATIC! It's simply the best machine on the market, not to mention the unparalleled support in their Facebook group - a tech is on duty there every day!

    Waiting for the XW, currently we have a 50w fiber laser, we need a diode or co2 to make the rotary templates so e can put it into production. waiting 3 months for the Roly has been hard, but the XW version will have some advantages for our other stuff

    Thanks for the 3 month review. I don't think that I have seen a bad review yet of the Roly. I have Ortur LM3 and it is always something going wrong on a daily basis, mainly with alignment of jigs
    Am torn as to my next step. Starting to do meta business cards on the OLM3 but thinking of buying a Commarker B4 20w and at the same time interested in doing the "Our Father" crosses on a wholesale level as I have a number of Christian gift shops within a hour of where I live. The OLM3 is way to slow for cutting.
    Curious as to the type of show you are going to that you need a inventory of $10,000.

      When you do enough shows, you will find the best ones over time. This is a 2 day show that gets so much great traffic. Plus, my items sell :)

    Do you ever do long cuts at 100% power? I ran mine at 100% for 15 minutes and the laser head was quite hot afterwards.

    • @ValleyForged
      @ValleyForged  3 месяца назад

      I ONLY run at 100% and I do many long cuts at 1hr each, for several hours. It does get petty hot, but it has not caused any issues so far. Not sure if there are any recommendations on this.

    I bought a 10w different brand just getting into it and wished I would have watched this video first. With that said would the 10w be ok for now until I could afford better? I want to make a few things to sell on the side but I don’t have need for a big production at the moment just learning and making things.

    • @ValleyForged
      @ValleyForged  3 месяца назад

      Of course! Many of us started with a 5.5w. Use it as an opportunity to learn everything you can, especially lightburn, If you really love it, then you can get something more powerful.

    Great video. I've had mine for about the same time frame, though I don't do nearly the same volume as you do. This is my first decent laser and I'm still getting familiar with it. One question I do have, I noticed your cut-outs didnt produce a lot of smoke. What kind of exhaust fan are you running? The standard fan that came with the machine or some sort of inline fan solution? Keep up the great videos.

      I use the AC Infinity RAXIAL S6. It is cheap, quiet and works like a champ. I have a 4" to 6" adapter as well. "It certainly does suck"

    I am thinking of getting one, does anyone know how effective it is at not letting fumes into the room? My wife is very sensitive to smells you get from cutting wood. It would be vented to the outside.

    • @ValleyForged
      @ValleyForged  Месяц назад +1

      Once I added the AC Infinity RAXIAL S6 fan as I did, there was NO smell from the laser. Using the stock one I hear there is a little smell. Hope others chime in and give their experience.
