Very informative! Thanks @Let's Talk SEO! Question, can I also use this in email automation? Or is there any such thing as email anchor text? Do they also have impact in SEO? What are your thoughts about this? Any suggestions?
I don't think email SEO is a thing, but there are indirect benefits. For instance, people who get your email, click on the link, and visit your page are traffic that Google sees, and, based on testing and by Google's own admission in a court of law, traffic is a ranking factor.
@@LetsTalkSEO Thank you so much for your response! Truly appreciated! Last question, I know this is a lil bit far, but how about in social media? Is it ok to use URL shortener like bitly in bio or post since we can't use anchor text in long URLs? Do these URL shortener also affect SEO or they can possibly hurt the quality of traffics? I mean, instead google seeing the traffics coming from my social media platforms, it might see it coming from bitly? Any advice about this? thanks in advance! ;)
So, we've tested this some time back, and my data shows that it has no adverse effects. However, the actual value in terms of authority that's passed from Social Media sites to Websites in general is next to nothing. However, with the right approach, social media can and will get you a ton of traffic, which is one of Google's ranking factors.
Interesting video thanks, I have learned a thing or two as I use buttons on my services page where visitors can use the ‘learn more’ button to learn more about each different service I offer with my local decorating business If was to change the text on the buttons to a partial or exact match keyword for the internal link then the buttons would all different sizes and look odd affecting the user experience, a naked link would look odd too, any ideas how to achieve this without messing up the design? Thanks
Thats the tricky one. I would personally look for a way to add "keyword+CTA" for instance "Get Meal Plan Here" or "Signup for the training" or "click to start making money" something to this effect. You can get AI to provide you with suggestions too within a certain character limit.
@@LetsTalkSEO thank you, I have implemented changes to the button link to match a variation of the URL I’m linking to Who knows, Google have a funny way of liking what you do recently and it’s hard to know what to do for the best I redesigned my site, moved it, lost DA and rankings but looking to fix up for the new year of business after Xmas All the best and thanks for your reply 😝
on the 06.54 you are talking about branded anchors and you mentioned 10-15%. Does these 10-15% will go to the about us, and contact us?? Is it important to send internal linking to these page of a website? If we do this: do about or contact us pages will not outrank the home page??
You don't want to send many links to the About and Contact Us pages. However, there is a strategy of internal linking that I use, where I beef up the About page with lots of internal links, and from that About page, I link to key articles I want to rank. That helps consolidate and pass juice. That said, its only good for content sites rather than for service businesses or eComm.
Rewatching it... After 8 months 😊
I'm glad you're having fun brother.

Good stuff. New question… how many internal links in a page is too many?
There is no fixed ratio.. Generally, most website pages wouldn't need to have more than 5 per 1k words on the page.

"How many time we can mentioned the exact match training"
this is just on page seo. not off page anchor text ratio right?
That's correct.
