Great unboxing. Loved the history detail and the comparisons to the pc game. Can’t wait for my delivery. Would be keen on a heap of gameplay video. 1v1 skirmish, the solo too would be great.
I wanted to back this one so much out of love for the video game and theme! Unfortunately, I have no one to play skirmish games with and I fear it would end up collection dust...
One of my videos talked about backing games that you'll realisticly play. I think its a good idea to hold off if you dont think it will even hit the board.
Have you played through it? I'm thinking of backing the 1.5, but a few things worry me. Stock army lists aren't quite what I was expecting. Very surprised to see things like the Panther not being in Wehr, Volks not being part of OKW, no Katusha for Soviets, etc. Some of the statlines likewise aren't what I was expecting, and forcing an light vehicle for everyone at T0 seems unnecessary. Anyway I hope the game plays well, I'd certainly love to try it one day.
Around the time of this Kickstarter I had been avoiding buying new games and trying to stay off of Kickstarter or any sites tempting me to buy games. I don’t even know if this is gonna end up being good but the minis and quality of the contents are so cool! When are you planning on trying it out?
I know this is a game and comments should be focused on the game but it was not a question if smaller guns on the Sherman tank but the ammo they were issued do to US anti tank doctrine. The doctrine was tanks don't fight tanks that was for anti tank weapons to deal with. It was a debatable doctrine.
I'm impressed by your tank knowledge! Also good job with the pronunciation of German words, with two exceptions: Luchs ( very close to "looks") and Volks- (the V in that word is pronounced like an F).
@@GameBrigade I didn't know "Panzer" was short for "Panzerkampfwagen", I had never heard the latter. I learned something new today, so you can tick off "teach a German German" off your list ;)
@GameBrigade I backed 2nd edition and still debating what to get. Don't need everything, but I'm guessing I want 4 players. Do i get terrain 1? Do i get Lost brigade or do I get elite commanders do I get the legacy map or the Xtra dice trays do I get the Russians even if I'm probably not.going to get enough games of 4 player for it to matter. That kind of thing. What about the mininpacks? That's kind of what I'm looking at. Just overwhelming choices and I play lots of different games so don't necessarily what an all in spend 600 on this game. I'm sure you have and will play this more than I do and was curious.from your plays what you thought was essential or really amazing. I know all a matter of opinion, but would like to hear your thoughts.
@@randybookman i would recommend the New Backer Bundle as you get the Germ and US faction in the core then your choice of 2 factions. I would pick OWK and your choice of brit or russian for the 2nd player. The Lost Brigade add on seemed like a necessary fix to the original game and Ive been waiting to get the final version to add to mine. very excited for this. Elite Commanders Collection is cool but not needed. Mini Pack Bundle I like these leaders and units, but they are a personal choice. not needed.
The "toy-factor" of this game looks unreal. Be honest. You've already played out full battles before reading even a single rule, right? A review would be nice, as well.
cant wait for Kickstarter 1.5 of this to come out. Definitely jumping on board.

I'm not into war games typically, but this looks really cool! I also still think it is cool we have the exact same phone case.
i just had to order a new one. the kickstand went out on the first one.

terrain box 2, world builder seem like the two I'm going to get on the next campaign for sure.

I am not really into Classic War Board Games, and more into the Fantasy but this game looks pretty good.
I'm really looking forward to playing. I also think the scale works with Joan of Arc so I might be able to use joan's terrain minis too

Love the map. But like any kickstarter..... too much stuff that wont make it to the table nor the shelfe.

More of a support to the infantry unit, but the size of their gun had issues penetrating armor.
