    With all due respect, and that is a lot, isn't that the height of privilege in this economic system and job market?

      Privilege? An immigrant guy who could barely talk English as he arrived and who only God knows the amount of racist and condescending crap he has to put up with even today? No. That's no privilege my friend.
      I agree that there is privilege in this society, regardless of origin. It is true that inequality and social injustice rule now, which put millions in a no choice position. But that's not a reason to believe that all those doing what they love do it because of privilege.
      In fact, a lot of people out there, including myself, are doing what they love without any privilege or realistic prospects. But it is what they love what makes them human, instead of vengeful and resented creatures. The one question here is: are you willing to pay the personal price?
