I'd really like to know more about the dump mechanism on both of the ballast cars.
You gave me a great idea for some models I'm doing in either 1:20.3 or 1:13.7 scale.
Ive been on youre website before looking for details.
Ya'll have the ultimate model railroad!
Edit: Sorry about the random time stamps there.🤷🏼‍♂️

The Shay GSP&P 7 was built by Ken Kukuk, Ken Petersen and me Johnny Hoffman with assistance from John Muller and James Holmes as a tribute to our friends Richard and James Holmes owners of the GSP&P. I made many trips to the Covert Ironworks for castings and I provided the cylinders and steam chests and machining of those parts by John Mueller. The air compressor is a copy of the Lois McDermott Overfair pumps as well as the throttle lever. John Mueller built the pump. I have a question, why is the Shay which is part mine at Hillcrest without my consent?

I wonder if a concrete vibrator would've moved the ballast out of those cars better

Breathing in all that silica when pouring the rocks is not good. You guys need some dust masks or something. Otherwise, this is an awesome video.
