Amazing, but not cheap, I’m sure. It is so good to see that you have a large number of people helping out here. Says a lot for community spirit!
HOW AWESOME IS THIS?!?!?!?
A blissful creation of blessings, the Union Pacific train built Reedley and Dinuba CA.
I must say awesome railroad awesome number 7 little Shay and any tool that gives a thumbs down to this video is must be a moron or millennial don't know what real work is or craftsmanship is well done
Something about live steam doing real work like a real train. It's really neat. It's one thing to have it go around in loops, or carry people, but actually doing work is beyond that. I don't know why. I guess it just brings an extra level of realism. And that Shay is gorgeous.
Love your Railroad guys.
I want it known that this class A Shay was built by Ken Kukuk, Ken Petersen and me, Johnny Hoffman with stack provided by James Holmes. It was built in the 1970's at the residence of Ken Kukuk. It was a tribute to our friends the Holmes brothers and their GSP&P railway located near Glenwood in the Santa Cruz mountains. Ken Kukuk, John Mueller and I are still living. The steam driven air compressor was built by John Mueller from the McDermott castings. Number 7 is on loan to Hillcrest.
You guys did a fantastic job on that locomotive. It’s good to see you on here. Is there any chance that the GSP&P could return?
Now THAT is a proper "Toy Train" size.
This is really cool i hope the railriad expands well live to see steam still used being to young to see the big ones in action
That Shay looks a bit battered, but she’s clearly doing fine. A true testament to steam’s durability.
😃 All aboard!!toot toot!!
Yes, we are open to the public seasonally. Are you with McClintock ? We have provided partsThere in the past
Very nice, like
Is this a private railroad? I run 15 inch in Scottsdale and would love to visit.
nice work
Can you make a video on building a railcar for wood and metal , please .
Working on the railroad all day long
Shays certainly are the ideal engine for this type of work. Lightweight, yet powerful.
Does the #7 have a specific basis? It looks like an A class Shay to me (A types being 2-truck, 2-cylinder Shays).
It is a model of a Collins and Garrison class A Shay which was in a photo on the cover of a reprint of a Lima catalog. This is posted by Johnny Hoffman, one of the builders of this 15" gage model.
Очень интересное видео! Скажите, какая колея у Вашей дороги, и предполагается ли укрепить края выемки. Ведь могут быть обвалы грунта на полотно!
Do you pull the long track supports after the ballast is tamped? What weight rail are you using and where did you get it? Surprising how even a small train can transport substantial multi ton loads.
Hello
Please I need to know if you can sell me the construction plans for the 15" 2-6-0 steam locomotive
Make some modification ... Convert shape of concrete loading flate type wagon to hopper type wagon it sabei time and manpower also.
Do you still do Rent an Engine?
Adult men are playing in Toy Railway ;)
Dump truck bed vibrator or put a generator on the flatbed use concrete vibrator
У нас в России точно не когда так не будет! Что бы помогали в таких масштабах рабочим.
Заебательская игрушка.👍👍👍
