Ruta Sepetys’ other book, Out of the Easy, is also incredible...it takes place in New Orleans in the 1950s and I loved it and would definitely recommend
I wanna read "turtles all the way dow", finish "little women" and start "six of crows". maybe also "traitor to the throne" but that's a bit ambitious considering that I work full time and also love doing other fun things such as painting and drawing
I'm rereading from the 4th to 5th harry potter book this month.I am going to read a darker shade of Magic for the first time and going to reread the first two Magnus Chase and read the final installment. being ambitious in my tbr
Morgane KRAUTH Illuminae and The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet are simply AMAZING!! So glad more people are reading The Long Way it deserves so much more attention. Hope you have a great reading month!!! :D
squibblesreads Oh well, it's more of a character driven story and it can be quite slow in some parts, it took me two months to read but I ended up loving it. Hope you like it too! ^-^ Ps. I love your videos
Morgane KRAUTH It is great! The characters are so fleshed out and you end up caring for every single one of them (but do prepare for some feelings) Ok ok I'll stop gushing about the book now! XD
Three months ago, I dragged my friend who had NEVER read a book before to a bookstore. We both picked up Salt to the Sea. Not only was the book so beautiful, but it also was the book that started my friend's love for reading. Crazy how one great book can impact a person so completely! I hope you love it as much as we did.
Right now I am at about 4-5 books a month, which is a huge step up from my original goal of at least one book a month. Just finding so many good ones to read and I just can't stop. I have always enjoyed learning and reading about History, especially WWII. Adding Salt to the Sea to my reading list!
The type of illustrations in The Wizard of Once look like the ones in The Hiccup Books. I think they're hand-done by the author, so awesome! I hope I can read it soon!
I really want to read BEASTS OF EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCE! I love any book that incorporates fairy tales. Also, I liked SALT TO THE SEA more than BETWEEN SHADES OF GREY in terms of its writing style and how the characters' stories linked together. The character development was a little better as well :) Happy reading in November, friend!
Salt to the Sea is amazing, I loved it even more than Between Shades of Gray. And I was also really lucky to meet Ruta in an event where she showed photos and talked about the people that inspired her to write Salt to the Sea. And of course the fact that Salt to the Sea is in movie production is just amazing!
I'm trying to finish Tower of Dawn and then I'm going to read Oathbringer, which comes out this month. I'm super excited about it!! Good luck on your reading!
I have an ambitious TBR as well :D Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson, Whichwood by Taherah Mafi, Vicious by V.E Schwab, A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E Schwab, All the Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater and many more. My final exam is today so afterward I'm literally free except for work which is not too bad.
The King of Attolia is my favorite book ever, as of this summer. That's the first time in 8 years that I have changed my favorite book. It's seriously amazing.
hopefully you will read more than 7 books this month. btw that pink sweater❤ I'm planning on reading the hammer of thor, the ship of the dead, a list if cages (currently reading it), days of blood and starlight & dreams of gods and monsters. hopefully I will read more but mostly I read 5 books in a month. so don't want to have a too ambitious tbr (& maybe the white queen)
I'm currently reading Wizards of Once and it's hilarious. my favorite part so far was when the sprite gets rescued from the flower that tries to eat him. "I's fine! I can't feel my left leg, but I's fine!"
Ahh, The Wizards of once is amazing. I'm almost done with it. I started yesterday and it's so good. I almost never read middle grade, but this book is fantastic.
I always get excited to see something I am reading on a Booktubers TBR for a month. I am usually way behind on things. I just started Salt to the Sea today. I think you are right that it will be an emotionally hard-hitting book. I hope that you are able to get to it this month! I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it.
I just finished The Raven Boys today and I'm now going to reread Nevernight. After that I want to read Godsgrave and between those I want to read the illustrated edition of prisoner of Azkaban. Then I plan on participating in the anti bully readathon. During this week I want to read Matilda, 13 reasons why, Winger and if I still have time left after that (which I doubt) I'm going to reread Mechanica by Betsy Cornwell. When I finish reading that I'm going to read the sequel, Venturess. I really hope I can do all this!
I feel like the reason Vengeance Road is on my to-read shelf is because I saw how beautiful it was in one of your videos. I should definitely check it out soon. Conjuring of Light is also on my November TBR!!! I just posted my wrap-up/tbr where I talked about it! Beasts of Extraordinary Circumstance also sounds really interesting! This is not related to this video, but I hope you do more vlogs sometime soon! I loved your readathon vlog (including all of the Chicago vibes from it--since I'm from Chicago and I miss it a lot right now), and it's definitely interesting to see more about you than just your regular videos.
This month I'll be finishing Chasing Secrets by Gennifer Choldenko. Also Spirit Junkie by Gabrielle Bernstein. Not sure on the rest, I tend not to plan out my books unless I'm reading a series. I finished #3 of the Mortal Instruments series a few months ago and I'm still debating if I want to embark on #4-6 just because I was pretty content with the way #3 ended. Cassandra Clare makes me go on an emotional rollercoaster and shout while reading!
I loved A Conjuring of Light! SO GOOD. I have a lot of books on my tbr for the month. I don't even remember which ones I talked about in my video 🙈 But I know Warcross, Godsgrave, and Strange the Dreamer are all on there!
I really want to read Schyte, ACOWAR, Cings cage, Happily ever after, Ruby read, one of us is lying, Hunting Prince Dracula, three dark crowns, Thruthwitch and don’t look back, so mine is also very ambisious
I started the enormous quest of reading Robin Hobb's Realm of the Elderlings starting with the Farseer Trilogy, and holy crap, I'm boarding the hype train right now!
Can we pleaseeeee get another reading vlog! I loved watching that. Please make another one soon. I’m combined my October and moved Tbr and made it a fall tbr. I have two more books left.
I haven't been reading much at all lately, but this month I'm planning on finishing City of Heavenly Fire. Also, to start (and finish) the Shadow and Bone trilogy.
I want to read Salt To The Sea so much, I adore World War 2 historical fiction novels and this one has had nothing but good reviews so I can't wait! Happy reading :D
I'm definitely picking up Maggie Stiefvater's Raven Cycle this month... I wanted to get to A Conjuring of Light, but I'm also doing NaNoWriMo, so I probably won't get as much reading done this month 😭
I am planning on reading Throne of glass series and black butler volume 24. I don’t know if I will be able to read all of those books in one month.. but I will try! :)
If I remember correctly from when I met Ruta at BookCon in...2015? IDK, the one in Chicago xD. This is a companion novel. The main character Joanna? Johanna? It's been awhile since I read the book, bear with me. Is the cousin mentioned in Between Shades of Grey. Im still having feels from this book 1.5 years later. It's..yeah. This book. I can't put it into words. It's something else (In a good way). You're going to love it.
Have you read the Nightingale by Kristen Hannah? I read it last month and I think it is now my all time favorite book. It takes place in WWII and I think you would absolutely love it!
I have started on The Book of Speculation by Erika Swyler, but I’d also like to read All of the Light We Cannot See and maybe reread Life Unaware. I have a big project for school, though, so I also must finish this biography.
Also pushing more indie books on you. And I really think you should read All For The Game Trilogy by Nora Sakavic. First book is called The Foxhole Court.
Have you read the libba bray trilogy I think it’s called Gemma Doyle chronicles or something? It’s amazing!!!!!!!!! So so so good. I think you would love them. A great and terrible beauty and the sweet far thing. I forgot the third.
Good luck on your reading. I loved Conjuring of Light--I can't wait to see what you think of it. My November TBR: You by Caroline Kepnes The Virgin (book 6, The Original Sinners series) by Tiffany Reisz Poison Princess by Kresley Cole Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor Lord of The White Hell (book 2) by Ginn Hale Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (I've tried to read this like 5 times ☹️) Reread Captive Prince Trilogy by CS Pacat The first fifteen lives of Henry August by Claire North
A journalist is writing a book about the vatican and considering that it just came out that Cardinal Pell, the 3rd highest ranking official at the Vatican offered hush money to victims and was still not fired from the Pope despite this history.. It should be an important read. History happening now!
I'm planning to read P.S I Still Love You, When Dimple Met Rishi, Luka & the Fire of Life, Before Orthodoxy, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Wonderwoman Warbringer, Ticket to India, What We Lose and The Fifth Season. I shall be very busy.
Holy crap The Wizards of Once is GORGEOUS
Salt to the sea is one of the best WW2 books I have read so far!
I cried SO much after this. Have you read Between Shades (NOT 50 shades...) of Gray by Ruta Sepetys?
Not yet and it kills me! I cant seem to find it in any bookstore nearby though
Good luck Regan! You got this girl 😀
Ahh A Conjuring of Light! I need to read that right this second I just finished A Gathering of Shadows and I need to know what happens!!

I'm rereading from the 4th to 5th harry potter book this month.I am going to read a darker shade of Magic for the first time and going to reread the first two Magnus Chase and read the final installment. being ambitious in my tbr
I plan on reading Crown of Midnight, Illuminae, The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet, Three Dark Crowns and A Brief History of Seven Killings :)
Morgane KRAUTH Illuminae and The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet are simply AMAZING!! So glad more people are reading The Long Way it deserves so much more attention.
Hope you have a great reading month!!! :D
I'm also working on The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet! (I was supposed to finish it in October but never did, whoops...)
Well, I can't wait to read it ! I've really been wanting to read more sci-fi recently so I'm excited ! :D
squibblesreads Oh well, it's more of a character driven story and it can be quite slow in some parts, it took me two months to read but I ended up loving it. Hope you like it too! ^-^

Salt to the Sea was FANTASTIC.

This TBR looks sooo exiting! I think we all love a good fantasy TBR
Wait a second I thought diabolic was supposed to be a stand alone?! I LOVED that book!
I’d also recommend listening to the audiobook for Salt to the Sea. It’s a full cast audiobook which can help with the multi-perspective first person
I'm trying to finish Tower of Dawn and then I'm going to read Oathbringer, which comes out this month. I'm super excited about it!! Good luck on your reading!

Great TBR! I hope you’ll do an updated “favorite book covers” video 😎
that reading list would take me a coupe of years
ikr? me too. But if there is someone in the world who can do it that's Regan!
sAME
The King of Attolia is my favorite book ever, as of this summer. That's the first time in 8 years that I have changed my favorite book. It's seriously amazing.
Regan! Finally, after years and years of having it on your shelf you read Vengeance Road. Can't wait for your review.
hopefully you will read more than 7 books this month. btw that pink sweater❤ I'm planning on reading the hammer of thor, the ship of the dead, a list if cages (currently reading it), days of blood and starlight & dreams of gods and monsters. hopefully I will read more but mostly I read 5 books in a month. so don't want to have a too ambitious tbr (& maybe the white queen)

Gah! I read The King of Attolia earlier this year, and now it's one of my favorite books of all time!

First book is called The Foxhole Court.

Salt to the Sea is extraordinary!! I'm still haunted by the characters that made up the story. Get yourself some tissues!
YESSSS SALT TO THE SEA💜
Once I read 14 books in a month but I was really sick so that was why?
i recognize this sweater from one of your hauls :)))
Sweet vid! Where's your jumper from? It's a beauty!
A journalist is writing a book about the vatican and considering that it just came out that Cardinal Pell, the 3rd highest ranking official at the Vatican offered hush money to victims and was still not fired from the Pope despite this history.. It should be an important read. History happening now!
Hello Regan!! I really like your sweater. Where did you get it?
I'm planning to read P.S I Still Love You, When Dimple Met Rishi, Luka & the Fire of Life, Before Orthodoxy, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Wonderwoman Warbringer, Ticket to India, What We Lose and The Fifth Season. I shall be very busy.

Psssst, how excited are you for 4 more books in the ADSOM world?
You should try reading the Land of Stories series, even though it is a children's series it is sooooo good.
