How to Insulate a Basement

Foundations are tricky, you only get one chance to get it right before it is buried forever. For this reason Jake Bruton prefers the insulation to be installed on the interior of the foundation. Here, Jake talks about a couple different products that his firm uses on their #hilltopaarow project.

How are you attaching it to the basement wall?

Hilti makes a very nice cap fastener. In this instance we drilled a small hole into the concrete and pushed the cap fastener into place to retain the insulation.
