Jiffy Lube ain't ish! 😂 Chevrolet tried to get over on me by doing $600 worth of "recommended work" that I DECLINED verbally and in writing. The manager came out and tried to get me to pay it. I wasn't having it lol. Then he tried to get me to pay half. Still no. Then the manager said that the guy that said I approved the work just happened to "not work there anymore." After an hour of arguing I remembered that I had a screenshot proving that I declined the work. Don't play with me. 😠 Keep your receipts and screenshot everything!

The last part of this video. Is in large a great portion as to why reparations are needed. We weren’t even set up to survive purposely. I’m not understanding why some people can’t see that we’re entitled to the great payback.

I love that you brought up reading being a punitive thing and pushing kids away from it as a consequence of that. I've always loved reading and my mom always let me choose out of her collection and even made the library a fun excursion. Contrast that with school where reading the "Classics" often became a chore and bored me to tears. It really is about the framing.
Don’t know if it’s true or not but… I read somewhere that she used to work with poachers by throwing rocks at the elephant to distract her while poachers would steel the elephants babies… that definitely warrants murder and desecration of remains in my humble opinion.

my child saw me reading all the time; made reading fun! made books fun gifts for no occasions, almost weekly...also incorporated oral story telling some nights instead of reading. now i have an avid adult reader!

My husband and I would take the kids to Barnes and Noble to pick out a book just as a fun outing or weekend event. They continue to read to this day. My youngest is really into Rick Roaridan books

I'm from a neighboring county of Prince Edward. I'm 32 and I remember the news of older people finally graduating when I was in middle school because they weren't able to finish getting their education when the schools closed. You'd think, being next door to Prince Edward, we would've been taught about all of that in school but I only had one teacher who mentioned it off the record
