Nice job from my observations of other builds. I'm starting one myself, smaller but proportional and you've got all the right stuff doing what and when it ought to. Thanks for confirming my understanding of about the correct way to build it but won't hold you to it!
Great video! Very helpful. (Just to be a pain…concentric circles have the same center, like your wooden pieces, sorry-the math teacher in me coming out). Again, very clear and instructive video!
Hi, I am enjoying the video. I did want to mention that at no point did you actually show a finished example of what a Thein baffle is, or how it works, so basically I'm 20 minutes into videos and I am still pretty confused about how exactly it differs from a regular cyclone. It would be awesome if you could make a 5 minute video explaining exactly how each piece of your dust collection works, and why the parts are important. Thanks for showing all the details of construction, it's very helpful.
You should re-edit this video. The first 21 minutes could be cut down to about 5-8 minutes - then you need to add at least 3 minutes of actual product demonstration. Nice work, good craftsmanship.
Hey, good video. I'm interested in the setting up of the rest of the dust collector. The motor mount & stand to be exact. Could you please do a video on building the stand. Also any changes you would do. Or if you have a link to download the stand plans. Thanks for all your hard work.

Now I understand why your wife tries to keep you in the garage as much as possible. Also, NASA called and wants you to work up a plan for a toothbrush holder for the manned Mars trip.... Sorry, that was kinda mean.
I just watched 7-8 thien baffle videos in a row, I thought this was hands down the best, thanks

You micro-managed every moment but great job.
Thanks for sharing. Let us know how well it's working for you
Yes I wanna see if it works!

No demonstration of dust going into the bucket? Thought that was mandatory. Nice video, I'll have to go build one on the weekend, great instruction
Demonstration of the unit is shown at the end of P3.
D_I_Why!?!? - part THREE??!!!
You mean I have to scrub (fast-forward) through two more videos?
OMG!... All of that and NO DEMO?, does it work? or is it a paperweight?
The plastic baffle will cause static and hold dust instead of sliding off it.
So has your garbage can crushed itself yet? My Rubbermaid one did until I put a reinforced frame inside.
Thank you for a great video. Did you have any issues with turbulence from the corrugations on the side of the trash can?
How did it work?
Where did you get those black plastic tubes?
These were bought at my local Woodcraft store. You can also get them online from numerous retailers.
Did it work?
Yes, it works very well. I posted a full can of use at the end of the last video.
the bin walls aren't smooth so I don't see this working very well
