I'm not an African-American woman, I'm a Latino man, but I still see so much of me and my family and my community in this show and I love it so much. I think that even though the show is made by Black women for Black women, it's just so universal for people of color and I think that's such a huge part of its success. And I love this show.
Hell, I'm a white British woman, and there's definitely some references and layers that I miss, but this looks like my life - I've always lived in East London, so my friends, neighbours, and classmates growing up were always very diverse, and my family is now mixed too. There's so much value in seeing the parts of our communities that don't get enough representation. It's not necessarily for me, (and that's cool not everything should be!) but I love it too, because even white privileged *I* notice how much these voices are lacking in the majority of mainstream TV/Hollywood.
I love a host that doesn't interject every question/conversation with their own anecdotes and let's their guests actually talk. Angelique Jackson is an incredible example to all interviewers!
I can honestly say that I love this show because it connects mentally and spiritually due to us really relating and understanding every bit of every sketch and it’s just pure entertainment all the time 🔥🔥🔥👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I love ALL of IT! Robin, you should cast my besties #OrganicCharlene and #LatifaAbdul. I think they would fit in perfectly. Charlene does hilariously funny skits and Latifa is an extremely talented actress. They are both multi faceted and in Cali.
Honestly after seeing her on Larry Wilkos, I didn't have much promise for this show... But I was so appreciatively wrong, Robin is absolutely brilliant! I went back and rewatched the LS Show and unfortunately now see how original and creative show. I wish it had given more time to thrive but they were hoping it was going to have Colbert success immediately. But now we're here, where we need to be like she said.

I can't wait! I LOVE this stupid, funny show. And I'm so proud of Quinta. At first I was mad she left, but Abbott Elementary is one of my favorites.
I was disappointed when she left too but I’m really happy it worked out for her! People love Abbot Elementary
this show needs more eyes tbh. she's one of the greatest minds in comedy in a LONG ass time.
