Kpop isn't just boy groups there are girl groups and solo kpop artists and yes there are a lot. My favorite is BTS, but yes other groups are good too. Blackpink is the most popular kpop girl group. The 3 rappers of BTS are RM, Suga, and J-Hope. They don't always have series of albums. But their map of the soul series is finished already which included Map of the Soul: Persona (2019) and Map of the Soul: 7 (2020) which combined Shadow and Ego. Then they released the album BE at the end of 2020. Yes the sound was better this video and it's completely up to you if you want to react again to Who is BTS the 7 members of Bangtan. The last clip of them at wembley was so emotional. Just imagine having that many people mainly english speakers singing your song to you in korean and BTS had no idea it was going to happen. As much as I respect and like other kpop groups, I can’t compare any of them to BTS, I mean these guys are just insane. I was drawn to them first because of their hip hop roots and their ability to make songs that had deep meaning. It’s rare to see that in pop music in general, but more so with kpop. Many groups don’t have the creative control that BTS has and so they’re stuck with poppy bubblegum tunes and that’s all they can do. BTS was able to change the narrative of Korean pop music just being rainbows and butterflies and made music that resonates with people and their incredible lyrics almost seem to have healing powers. While they change their sound often, they never changed themselves. I believe their genuineness is a major part of their success. 😊

we are done with map of the soul series!! They dropped one more album after MOTS last year in November which is called "BE" and this album's lead singles are Dynamite and Life goes on. Now they are coming back again with an album in June. Lead single "Butter" is going to be out on 21st of May.

They are saying mi casa in their song "Home". The three members of the official rap line are RM (Kim Namjoon), Suga (Min Yoongi), and J-Hope (Jung Hoseok). Jungkook is the main vocalist and a sub-rapper, which means that he raps in some songs and will sometimes to backing vocals for the rappers but it is not a part of the rap line.
To know them individually, please check out WHO IS BTS? THE 7 members of bangtan (introduction) by suga and spice. This is an older version but it helped me personally in identifying them and their personalities.
He said hundreds of groups debut every year not day lol and I rlly love bts they are my ultimate group and the first Kpop group that I watch and liked and no other group can rlly fill the love and respect I have for them. But I do watch many other boy and girl groups and they all work really hard cause for them to even debut takes time and hard work . So I honestly respect most Kpop groups as well (at least the ones I watch) and they all have their own strengths so I feel like it would be hard to compare them to other groups. but BTS by far is the most popular and successful groups right now in this generation and other group can compare to them. There are a lot of army’s who only like BTS and no other Kpop groups and there are a lot who do like other Kpop groups as well as BTS so it rlly just depends on the person. BTS’s songs are usually much deeper and have a lot of thought into them from the members which is why I feel like I connect with BTS more than any other group.

To answer your question at 3:58 all of the groups on that list are considered either big or huge. Many of alot of members too as Super Junior at 13 members or Twice at 9 in comparison now BTS is what the koreans call untouchable. They're legendary in the industry and throughout all of South korea to the point where they have created laws surrounding BTS such as the "BTS Law", which keeps BTS out of Korea's mandatory military service until they're 30 something never done for a musical artist at all. BTS is their pride awarded with high medals from the Korean president himself and the news even broadcasting when they put up pics of their dogs. Old and young know of BTS to the point where their in the official South Korean Anthem MV. No one comes nears BTS many consider it an honor to even see them from afar. I heard one MC on a show talk about how he was grateful to even see their manager.
Many other groups in the past had tried to break into the Western musical culture but only succeeded after BTS had "paved the way for Korea and their art".
After Map Of The Soul: Persona, they dropped 2 more albums til now, Map Of The Soul: 7, in February 2020, and BE, in November 2020. They already have a new album coming up later this month, Butter
They released map of the soul 7 right before COVID hit which was the second in that series. Not sure if they were originally planning on a third album for the mots series but instead, because of the pandemic, they released “BE” and are due for a comeback in May
I think they were planning on doing a trilogy for the map of the soul series Persona, Shadow, and Ego. But instead of doing Shadow and Ego separate they just released Map of the Soul:7 which contained both to save time. They probably did this because they were supposed to be going on their world tour, but Miss Rona got in the way.

The three members of the official rap line are RM (Kim Namjoon), Suga (Min Yoongi), and J-Hope (Jung Hoseok). Jungkook is the main vocalist and a sub-rapper, which means that he raps in some songs and will sometimes to backing vocals for the rappers but it is not a part of the rap line.

He said hundreds of groups debut every year not day lol and I rlly love bts they are my ultimate group and the first Kpop group that I watch and liked and no other group can rlly fill the love and respect I have for them. But I do watch many other boy and girl groups and they all work really hard cause for them to even debut takes time and hard work . So I honestly respect most Kpop groups as well (at least the ones I watch) and they all have their own strengths so I feel like it would be hard to compare them to other groups. but BTS by far is the most popular and successful groups right now in this generation and other group can compare to them. There are a lot of army’s who only like BTS and no other Kpop groups and there are a lot who do like other Kpop groups as well as BTS so it rlly just depends on the person. BTS’s songs are usually much deeper and have a lot of thought into them from the members which is why I feel like I connect with BTS more than any other group.

To answer your question at 3:58 all of the groups on that list are considered either big or huge. Many of alot of members too as Super Junior at 13 members or Twice at 9 in comparison now BTS is what the koreans call untouchable. They're legendary in the industry and throughout all of South korea to the point where they have created laws surrounding BTS such as the "BTS Law", which keeps BTS out of Korea's mandatory military service until they're 30 something never done for a musical artist at all. BTS is their pride awarded with high medals from the Korean president himself and the news even broadcasting when they put up pics of their dogs. Old and young know of BTS to the point where their in the official South Korean Anthem MV. No one comes nears BTS many consider it an honor to even see them from afar. I heard one MC on a show talk about how he was grateful to even see their manager.
Many other groups in the past had tried to break into the Western musical culture but only succeeded after BTS had "paved the way for Korea and their art".

They released map of the soul 7 right before COVID hit which was the second in that series. Not sure if they were originally planning on a third album for the mots series but instead, because of the pandemic, they released “BE” and are due for a comeback in May

I think they were planning on doing a trilogy for the map of the soul series Persona, Shadow, and Ego. But instead of doing Shadow and Ego separate they just released Map of the Soul:7 which contained both to save time. They probably did this because they were supposed to be going on their world tour, but Miss Rona got in the way.

for other group suggestions... it really depends on what you're looking for, cuz most of them have really different experiences in the industry comparing to BTS (and mostly less artistic freedom)
I like a lot of different group's music, but none of them I'm really emotionally attached to other than BTS
and the fact that BTS' music is heavily based on Hip Hop is also so different from a lot of other groups
I know Seventeen do a lot of their own stuff, so even though their music is usually not my style (they're good though, don't get me wrong), they have my respect
Stray Kids and Monster X's music sometimes remind me of BTS
I don't listen to much girl groups but I'll say GFriend, Mamamoo and Red Velvet's music I listen to the most
