I used to help out a senior woman in my neighborhood, and would make a steak stretch a long way with foil bakes. I was able to make little packets ahead and make about 4 meal from a regular piece of meat. You don't even need expensive cuts of meat, chuck steak or roast did the job just fine. The added bonus is I was able to make these ahead of time put a label with cooking instructions on each packet and then would pop them in her freezer so she could bake them herself. She had a ball suggesting to me what ingredients she would like in them, and we ended up with so many different ideas. She had me do lamb for Easter, and corned beef and cabbage for St Pats, turkey and stuffing for Thanksgiving. The possibilities are endless. Just remember to think about how long it would take each ingredient to cook and cut them or precook them accordingly!!! Love what you do Miss Gina!!!

Used pork chops, Hamburg, and other cheaper cuts of meat. I used all kinds of veggies with the meat. We were poor ☹ but they were delicious and like a surprise to open. Thanks for the memories. Hi Gina, I make this all the time. The only thing I do different is, I "quick brown" my cubed meat in butter then add it to the potatoes and veggies in the foil. Try it! Browning the meat 3-4 minutes on each side oooh my goodness it's good. Love you and your family. God bless you!

Looks great! When I make chuck roast (in crockpot) I only use ranch seasoning and 1 stick of butter (plus veggies). It comes out perfectly! Edit: I do add salt and pepper before browning the roast in a pan. I LOVE ranch seasoning!

Hi Gina, another way you can do potatoes is putting holes in the potatoes with fork and wrap each meal piece in individual foil and cook all together I do this all the time and it works great. All food comes out cooked and tender. Keep up the good work.
