Exactly my reaction. First was like filthy bass.. the went banging.. after breakdown I broke my neck 😂 I love this song!!
It reminded me of the energy from their early albums and then genuine happiness and excitement hit me full on! AWESOME!
Simply the most positive and the coolest reaction video with such great decomposition of main riff and chorus. Love this video and really liked your mood in it, man! Please keep doing more of this stuff. Thanks
Wow didn't realise Muse released material, this is sick. There's a kind of reggae/dub vibe fused into those verses which I'm digging. Class!
Yeah to me it felt like it was Ska. It was immense popular 20 years ago. This song has very mixed elements. Making it one of my favourite Muse songs. 🎉
Yeah... its crazy... i feel kind memories back when muse start their first album hhe... I hope in this new album... the another songs have kind feel like this... hhe...
I love that the reaction of most muse fan is getting a bigger smile on our face as the song goes on. I personally been listening to it over and over again. If this is a preview of the album, oh boy we are in for a awsome ride...I'm already hyped for the live version of this song
One of the producers tweeted #itonlygetsheavier
Saw them at Firenze Rocks - super amazing
Absolutely awesome on the spot musical breakdown of one of my favorite bands ever. When Muse trend towards metal it's so damn exciting for me as well so I totally share your enthusiasm. Great song and video!
Thanks dude, this song made me so damn happy! Video is sick too. Pity YT made me take it down but I'm glad I was still able to upload the audio. Was worried that would get blocked too! Heavy muse with the synths as textures is perfect! 🤘
@@JWSoundworks2 So glad you were able to get it out by removing the video. I know their songs can be difficult to get posted so I appreciate the effort and I can check out that great video anytime but seeing you get all excited over the song was a great way to start the weekend. I can't wait for the new album as well!
Sure enough, Muse have covered Popcorn live
@@wewantthecup haha, no way!
@@JWSoundworks2 Yep! And actually, I had totally forgotten until right now...they even produced a studio version as a b-side
Your talent is amazing - I am a huge Muse fan and I love watching reactions - but yours is just another level ... I am SO envious !!!!! This is a truly amazing album - already seen them performing this live twice and it is amazing. But how you pick up everything and just play it - talent personified!
Love muse, love the song, love the reaction. Unlike many yahoo’s around the space I’ve enjoyed every album. The genre changes but the talent is always there. This just happens to be many peoples and my own favorite genre.
Great video my friend. I'm not the biggest Muse fan, but I've seen them live once and the show was great. I kind of like the heavy riffs in this one.
Keep the vids coming whenever you can.
Cheers
Thank you, Martin. One of my top bands of all time. Certainly, back in the early 2000s Muse were one of the most refreshing rock bands on the planet. And they still totally have their own thing going on even after all this time. 🤘
Love ur detailed analysis 🤩
guitar tone is immaculate 🤤🤤
Thanks for the deep details of this song good stuff
You are the first analysis video for this song on the tube I think and I’d say from one musician to another you are 99% correct in your analysis. I also thought when I first heard this song the piano motif at the beginning bar sounded like Ah-Ha’s Take On Me too! Crazy but that’s just a coincidence I think. Good video man!
Appreciate the kind words, man! Thank you! I reckon Muse could actually do a killer version of Take On Me, now that I think about it!
Your reaction was so exciting and interesting to experience, I love how you respond both emotionally and analytically - you are a magician!❤
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you.
We need this album for the people at this time. What a great song. These guys are clued up.
They played it live this week, fans have already put together a pretty good multicam. If you wanna check out how they do it live.
Also, I'd love your thoughts on their other new single "Compliance"
Nice! I was into Muse from Showbiz and saw them in a small bar in Bristol back before they got properly famous (lucky to be at uni there at the time)
wow - nice one, man! Back when Matt was holding his Parker guitar together with duct tape!
‘Kill or be killed’ needs your attention as does ‘You make me feel like Halloween’ which has a great MV if you can get it on screen
There's always been something really sexy about Muse. I know...not the most insightful comment but that's not my job, it's yours 😏
“Possible an Easter egg” brilliant, as is your ability, what a joy to watch
It's great hearing Muse back to their glorious selves.
Awesome Breakdown! I had the exact same happy reaction. Got emotional for a second recognizing everything I loved about their music has returned.
Getting Ulster Hall vibes 2003. My first live show with MUSE. Loving it
Love that new single. I’ve seen Muse live 5 times. Every time astonishing shows.
Please, check out Countless skies by Be’lakor. You don’t know what is waiting for you.
‘Muse are the New Queen!’ Limelight Belfast, Never Forget!
Lol did I say that!? Sounds like something I would say tbf. 😂🤘
Honestly, I'll cry if they skip Ireland again on the next tour. This song is gonna melt faces everywhere
Mantap 👍🏼
Good morning from Malaysia 🇲🇾☕
Great reaction/ song analysis mate! Subscribed from now on 😎🙌
I can't be more hyped about this song and the new album to come. Muse did it again!
Loved your playing at the start
Just 💣💣💣💥💥💥🙌
Woooooo 🤣🤣🙌🤘💣🔥🔝
Excellent review, m8 - thorough, on point, and lots of fun :)
Thank you, dude. Appreciate that!
I feel as auld as the hills. I remember we used to use their version of "can't take my eyes off you" as the beginning of the kick out songs at the club lol
Also this is my fave reaction to this song. Looks like I'm saving for some stupid good tickets eventually
😂 Yeah, I remember being a spotty teenage goth and jumping around to new born in a place called The Venue in Belfast. It had cheap booze for us kids, and very sticky floors LOL. Those were the days.
@@JWSoundworks2 omg yes sticky floors - the main reason to wear boots hey haha.
I didn't get to see them until they were touring second law but it was gooooood, worth the wait & plenty of the old faves.
I think my days in the pit are numbered which makes me sad cos I've not been to a gig for almost 4 years. I moved out of the city then covid came along. I had faith no more tix that I was pretty happy with the seats but they cancelled it outright now after 2 postponements. I kinda just want to hit up one of my old fave venues to get some good Aussie rock, covered in sweat & beer & singing along full volume ha. It's been too long. Last gig I went to was Pop Will Eat Itself so that's not too shabby.
I get the feeling we are of similar age so you get the music of the time. It really is awesome to look back though. Of course we did the 80s night on a Sunday or a once a month at another venue. It's funny though I'll have some music on in the car as I travel a lot being out remote where I am & the playlist ends up being "seen them... them as well... seen them in 96..." lol like my folks dropped me off for an all ages show when I was like 13 & I was there on my damn own but I was so excited. My first gig was nirvana & the support band I already had heard a lot of & they're the band I've seen most, 3 different states & such. I didn't know anything, I had no ear plugs, my damn money was in a pocket so it fell out while bouncing about so I was rather green with it all haha. And to give some perspective where the venue was....St kilda, early 90s was heroin central & a lot of ladies selling their wares. But yeah sure leave your kid there alone for a few hours haha.
I'm glad to see muse taking this direction, I'm so keen for a show. Them & rammstein are like exciting me. I just missed out on Jinjer like I just couldn't make the timing work so I would see them again & spiritbox. Though it feels very festival-ey & I swear any alternative/metal festivals here are an absolute shitshow. Bad organisers, people not getting paid & stuff so bands don't want to come all the way here to get shafted.
I'm keen to see what the rest of this album sounds like, I'll be watching out for your reactions! It's late, I'm waffling I cantalk shite about music for hours.
That is going to be (super) massive live!
I see what you did there! 😁
@@JWSoundworks2 🤣🤣
14:00 yep i thought the same right at the start of the song that take on me riff!! Amazing analysis of a great song, from poppy to like real heavy love it
Mantap mantapp mantapppp..."muse" 👌👌👌👍👍👍👍
Awesome reaction loved the enthusiasm and enjoyment you showed and suprisement when it went heavy ,cracking tune sounds like they have stepped up another gear and that falsetto. P.s cracking drum kit in the corner misses will not let me have one hahaha hints were given at xmas
when I heard the first time first 2 seconds and this popcorn synth.... I thought uuuuh its Aha!!!! ahahahaha
Insane
I’m with you on having felt like Muse had sort of lost their way, as if they were struggling to find a way to keep their identity and still do something that felt new after so much amazing prior work. This feels like they have re-found themselves, in a sort of mash up of their early work and later more electronic stuff. This feels like absolution and the 2nd law mashed together. That caught me off guard on first listen. It was almost like it took me a minute to recognize the Muse I used to love.
Nah they were doing something they loved (experimenting) & making the most of that synths sound, thats present in a lot of their stuff. I think the album made sense & I love the stage production & film they made! Coming from the band that made a Star Wars meets spaghetti western music video & then when you think of the funk fun that is Panic Station; it was I think very - them. & heavy songs weren’t that long ago created by them, as they had a couple of their better ones on Drones
@@jonanice Oh don’t get me wrong, the experimentation has always been an aspect of their identity. But it felt very much like The Resistance wasn’t quite “them”. Like, they were experimenting because they were bored with their established style, and wanted to break free, but they didn’t quite know how to do it. Like, how do we not sound like what we did before, but still sound like ourselves. Which is something any artists struggles with eventually, it’s called growth :-). The 3rd Law was better, like they sort of found what they were looking for. To me it felt more like “Muse” than The Resistance did, despite being far more experimental. But The 3rd Law I think was a bit too far outside their realm for most fans, and so they felt this need to go back to something that sounded more Muse-like, which ironically I think backfired on them with Drones. Going back to heavy does not equal going back to sounding like Muse. It felt like they forgot how to heavy. Not because Drones wasn’t heavy, it just, was heavy without being inspired by it. It was like, “we will be heavy cause we feel like we have to”. Just my opinion. The Resistance and Drones both just, failed to grab me. The 3rd Law is not my style but I feel like it grabbed me better anyway because, I guess it feels more authentic to me - they meant it, and they were having fun doing it, you know? This song feels like the end result of the growth. Like they went on a journey of experimentation and identity after Black Holes, and some of it worked, and some of it didn’t, and then they knew it was time to come home, and Drones was like “how do we get home?” But this is “we’re home, and we brought our new growth with us”.
Saya suka lagu lagu Muse
I like how you were getting into this. Yes… Yes. Yes!
10:14 Knowing Chris, it is possibly a bass with a multitude of effects as Chris does and he loves to be on the more secretive side on what effects he is running. Espeicllay with his Status Kitara bass
AWH MAN!!!! There is nothing like Muse

Remember the Ulster Hall gig?! Newborn and the balloons coming down at the encore Jesus man, sick to see a local become a RUclips legend!
I remember meeting a few friends after it (I was in town that night but hadn't managed to get a ticket for it). The first thing they talked about were the bouncing balls and Bliss!
Already subscribe and my first comment here have a nice day 🤘🏻
Thank you!
100/10 analysis
Ha! Thank you!🤘
Super reaction 👍
Finally someone else could hear take on me in this track
Great reaction, I'd love to be able to pick up a guitar and figure this out that easily and then just jam out to it.
Thank you!
Starting to think the take on me stuff is matt genuinely enjoying deliberate nods to tracks of old. I always thought the uprising synth riff was a White Wedding homage
Kreen Muse🙏👍🤔😁👑❤🇮🇩
Still no words on the release date unfortunately....also no words on the meaning of the logo you see in the video
Nice
They are still bigger and bether, it's enjoyfull
Metal starts fusing pop together with brutality, Muse gets harder, and somewhere they meet in the middle
Hi bro...you can check band from Indonesia Burgerkill Killchestra.....
Most of the fans stop on the resistance album 😂😂😂 I wasn't surprised when he showed last the resistance
Next Alip ba ta finger style Indonesia
The video was shot entirely with a Ukrainian cast I believe actually. Banger though man
First BAND cover of that song here !

still think you would really like Brutus- War
Why does it remind of Bliss? 🤔
Hey.. Ayu guspanz dong
Mr Soundworks I urge you to go back and do a full listen of Simulation Theory, give it another chance! There are some great moments on it, notably for me is Break it To Me. I also give you permission to react to the whole album 🤣🤣. Love you work anyways!
Mantap ☕, react alip bata again brother
Pleace reactions gitaris muda berbakat dari indonesia ( abim finger) dan semoga chanel ini semakin berkembang
Terima kasih 🙏
Please give react to Alip bata channel again...Its make all alipers inspiring...thank's
I have more Alip coming soon. Already another one on my patreon!
Pleace your reaction Alip bata (infected) thank you..
Salam alipers.. kopi mana kopi..
Hi bro I hope you reaction ALIP BA TA LINGSER WENGI please. I am watching your react bro. Thanks 🙏🇲🇨
reaction alip ba ta again mr
Muse proving to non Musers that they are disturbing
Alip ba ta
Good chorus. Terrible verse bit where they sound like Imagine Dragons
Definitely big pop vibes in the verses, but done with a kind of sleazy production that I still enjoyed. Fortunately I don't know any I.D, as I've heard enough about them to make me avoid them!
Verse is my fav part apart from the breakdown, sue me 🤷🏻♂️ big dead inside vibes
Sounds like a metal fan, not a muse fan.
@@JWSoundworks2 Don't just go by the herd opinion on Imagine Dragons. They are a decent pop-rock band with a lot of bangers. They make rock songs too like Dull Knives.
Need English sub T_T
Exactly my reaction. First was like filthy bass.. the went banging.. after breakdown I broke my neck 😂 I love this song!!
