I think you have hands down the best dollar tree in the country! My dollar trees have NEVER been anywhere as this in terms of being clean, having variety and being well stocked!

Oh my goddess! I did not know you could make your own alcohol ink! I actually stopped the video right there and Googled how to do it. Thank you so much. I don't have the money right now to buy them, because of course I'd need several colors, so this is great. Yeah, I get excited about the little things...hee-hee... Oh, and something else I just learned....there are also videos out there using things like plastic spoons as molds to make pendants and balloons or tiny ziplock bags to make things, another option besides traditional silicone molds.
Yeah, but you can buy markers of various colours in one package....right? I'm assuming the dollar store sells rubbing alcohol as well. That's 70% alcohol, right?

I haven't been able to work much, since my car wreck in 1997 and due to a back injury, it left me unable to do the work I have experience doing. I'm wanting to start out making gifts for family and friends, then once I gain more experience, to start selling on Etsy and other sites. Thank you all SO much! I wish i lived in the US . you have, by far the best craft supplies and stores. I live in the UK and we have Hobbycraft which is expensive and The Works an d limited supply at our Poundland...so jealous.I was in US three years ago and fell in love with all your craft stores :-)
Awesome video, they just recently upgraded a few of the Dollar Tree store around me so they offer lots of arts and crafts stuff. It's truly the best way to go about buying items especially if your just starting out and don't want to waste unnecessary money. I do acrylic pours and began with Dollar store paint and and they have resin/hardener combo which is nice cheaper alternative to high priced brands.
I wish I had a dollar tree stocked like this. The one thing I would say, is go to Michael’s and get multi-surface paint for a dollar or less. That paint and their “oil pastels” are about the only 2 things That aren’t good. Also if that mod Podge is still 2 ounces it is actually a better deal than the bigger bottles.

I would think 91% dries too fast unless needed for a special effect? Thx for your thoughts.

I do have a video it’s in the older area. But in a bottle put alcohol at least 70% but better if you use >90%, I buy denatured at Lowes. A large can is $20. It last a long time and is the best for any projects. Alcohol in your bottle, open the marker and put the ink tube in the bottle. Shake occasionally let sit about 24 hours. When your good with color take out the color tube. I like to wring it into the bottle as I pull it out.
If I want it chunky like it’s looks like quartz with some pieces uneven broken (if that makes sense) 1/2 salt to resin. Just a fun look but smooth 1/4 salt to resin.
What are you cleaning out? If epoxy clean immediately after use with soap and water. I’m very careful cleaning anything not to put epoxy in my pipes personally. If it dries as long as the epoxy is thin I can usually squeeze it together and pop the epoxy iff
Hello friend, welcome. I use pro marine but I just tried epoxy from hippie crafts and liked it. I’ve also used and like enviro tech lite. I’m gonna be trying a couple different ones because I’m looking for something new. I have used fingernail polish with the Apoxsee yes, however I have used it mostly for Hydro dipping but I have also painted small pieces with it.
I enjoyed your video, but think you need to put some videos on how to use and what to do with resin. As resin is new to DT most of us don’t even know where to start.

Oh friend you are missing out, lol. Hydro dip with nail polish it’s quite cool. I would try it on something unimportant first until you get the hang of it. And then I also use nail polish on small items that I want to paint and I’m doing layers of epoxy. The nail polish that has the long thin applicator for making dots and stuff is really good like if you’re doing a project that you want to Dot in eyes or such.
It's a good video even for someone like me who lives in a different country but I have found the moving camera very dizzying and sometimes too fast to see items you mention

This one is in Orlando and 50 going towards Mills. If you live in that area, they built a brand new one that is bigger and nicer than this one to replace this one down the road a little ways.

Yes, within all of my videos I have shown all of these products and use. But because I’ve been using them so much before even doing this video I didn’t necessarily point out each individual product. Going forward when I use them I certainly will.
I think sometimes you assume we know what you're talking about. For example, the wall stickers you say "I love using these." But you don't say what you use them for. Maybe I'm missing the obvious. And just because I'm an English tutor - it is "especially" not "exspecially".
Chris thank you, I use them for many projects mainly tumblers but anything I may need a sticker for. I apologize I show them often in videos. Thank you for your English lesson, I’m sure tutoring English certain things must bother you. However, there are words that do not always come out easily. @@meg_dances6235 I agree. I am in Jacksonville, Fl and they have upped their game especially in the Craft Corner. If your store doesn't have these items you can always order off their website. However, they sell by the case on most things.

The chalk markers are very good for coloring your mold before u pour transfers a awesome color effect on your resin cast

Command hooks for holding washi tape and electrical tape. I use furniture touch up pens (3pack) to make ink for wood grains. It retains its color.

I used 70% and that worked really well for me.

I think sometimes you assume we know what you're talking about. For example, the wall stickers you say "I love using these." But you don't say what you use them for. Maybe I'm missing the obvious. And just because I'm an English tutor - it is "especially" not "exspecially".

Chris thank you, I use them for many projects mainly tumblers but anything I may need a sticker for. I apologize I show them often in videos. Thank you for your English lesson, I’m sure tutoring English certain things must bother you. However, there are words that do not always come out easily. More of an annunciation issue than a pronunciation issue. Definitely not a spelling issue 😂 I appreciate you friend. (Educators rock)

Amazing!! I have never seen so many items in our local dollar tree stores like you're showing us! Ours just stocks the junky stuff. Where is your store located and is it the only one in the whole country the is stocked so well?
This one's in Orlando, I've worked at 5 dollar trees in Florida, they're mostly all stocked well like this, I especially love the Craft Aisle
@@meg_dances6235 I agree. I am in Jacksonville, Fl and they have upped their game especially in the Craft Corner. If your store doesn't have these items you can always order off their website. However, they sell by the case on most things.
