I used to over pack but now I under pack because I would rather carry less things :P

Sometimes I just can’t handle the fear of forgetting something /doing some wrong. Also not exactly knowing how the trip will be, freaks me out!

Packing anxiety? You bet!
Do I envision every scenario that I may wear an outfit before I even leave to head to that place? Of course
Somethings that have helped me since I identified this packing anxiety … most times it’s because I’m excited anxious. I even slow down my speed of packing as I’m worried I’ll miss something for that amazing trip that it really becomes a stress anxiety. 😬
I too set timers, move completed packed items to another location, and sometimes for longer trips, I take pictures of the outfits to make sure I can reuse items and such. It actually really does help me reduce the time to choose my outfits while on vacation!
Best lesson learned: unless I’m going to a very remote location, “I can buy it there.” I just make sure I pack medicine and a change of clothes in my own bag and I’m good to go.

Key to packing - look at your itinerary and make tons of lists. Shannon Ford is the queen of packing. I’ve also learned some hacks from flight attendant vlogs. Packing cubes are a game changer.
Lists are essential!!! And absolutely agree - packing cubes are so helpful 🫶🏼🫶🏼

I’ve been saving to watch this video so I can watch it right before I pack for my trips! I gotta pack for a Vegas trip and then a Nashville trip right after! A little overwhelming but it’s a good type of problem :)

Thank you! This one and my most recent video were filmed with my new camera (DJI Osmo Pocket 3)!! So the quality looks a lot different! But yes I also use a saved preset on final cut pro for color grading :))
