Hardly, if ever noticeable in a negative light. Definitely one of the more under rated and under appreciated players for the stability he brings to the third line. He just goes about his business in the right way.

I am always a little concerned that Garland and Hoglander would both have trouble withstanding the physicality of playoff hockey. Garland showed last year that he could handle it; Hoglander, not as much. With the Canucks adding some muscle and grit in the forward group this past season, maybe both would have more room to drive their play and make some magic...
