When a tear ran down Sora's cheek I was so heartbroken because I knew it was Roxas crying inside of him. IT'S SO HORRIBLE. I DON'T REMEMBER KINGDOM HEARTS BEING THIS SAD.
But at the same time it's happy. Look at the message. People are worlds, it's only through the chains our hearts create that bind us all together. There are people like Xehanort who try to break hearts, and misplace people. Not just misplace them. Sometimes people just get broken. we loose our abilities to see the joy and love in our hearts. But then there are people like Sora. People who just know how to love people. Real love. beyond just romance our media tries to claim as the one true love. Just like there are many people there are many loves. But no matter how much everything separates. No matter how much something breaks. In the end... somehow everyone will be made whole. Someday, everyone will be restored. That's the message Kingdom Hearts gives. we, will all someday be restored. That's why we need to smile, and enjoy everything. So once we are restored, we can restore others too.

Okay, am I the only one who thinks that Jesse McCartney did a beautiful job as Roxas and Ventus voice actor. Ditto to Haley Joel Osmett as Sora's voice actor.
He sure does have a beautiful voice but sure does have serious rage issues when he voice Roxas.
I am so emotional on the last day of summer vacation for Roxas. And the fact that he wasn't meant to exist. It must have takes him a lot of courage to even accept that Sora need him to become whole and that he just another half of what's important.

CoM is actually pretty important in the series, it gives a connection between Namine and Sora, introduces us to Organization XIII, it ties KH1 and 2 together, and most importantly we see why Riku has the Ansem Darkness form in KH2
that sansem form he does not use till 358/2 days but i can definitely see your point and it funny how at first everyone who bought this game was just so bloody confused

Bruno Al Most of the organization members were his lab apprentices. Xehanort who become his apprentice after taking possession of a younger body wanted to do the experiment that resulted in the heartless and nobodies however Ansem denied his request.
Xehanort and the entire lab betrayed him as an result and went on with the experiment. Ansem was blinded by revenge and took it out on any nobody he could get his hands on because of it.

I thought about this for about a few moments before I decided it'd actually be a really bad idea. The plotlines and characters themselves have taken like, seven games to flesh out. So at best we'd have a movie that really only KH fans will understand so it probably won't have mass appeal, or it'll be something that will wreck the KH universe, but will appeal to non-fans.
Take it step by step like Harry potter... It doesn't have to be one movie.. And you don't have to follow the game plotline (:
IllOrange24 Then what's the point of making it if it doesn't follow the game plotline? Then we just end up with a situation like with Resident Evil or Silent Hill and those went bad fast. Also, if we're going to compare it to Harry Potter then we're still looking at a ton of important plotlines getting left out.

The scene where Sora says bye to Hayner, Pence, and Olette always gets me, seeing Hayner and them look so sad after Sora's gone. It also makes me feel bad for Roxas.

Kingdom Hearts will always have a huge place in my heart. Such an amazing series. The opening theme songs and ending songs NEVER fail to give me the feels. Such nostalgia. Brilliant. 💯🖤🖤🖤

I'm not sure if it was the creator's intentions. But it seems as if they never want you to have an emotional connection towards Roxas UNTIL he finally meets Sora and allows him to wake up. When I first played the game I remember thinking "OMG I DONT WANNA PLAY AS THIS KID ANYMORE! WHERE'S SORA?!" Then finally you get to be Sora and feel extremely bad cause no one really does care for Roxas until he gives you what you want lol.
If you played 358/2 days, those original feelings would not have existed, hehe

Without a doubt my most favorite series of all time. The plot is so damn detailed and deep you could talk for days trying to explain everything. From back stories of characters, to keyblade origins, to kingdom hearts, to the organization, xheonort(deffinately spelled wrong) and much more.

Be honest, we all cried a little when Roxas said his last words to Sora. When I was a kid, I could never get it out of my head, "Sora, your lucky. Looks like my summer vacation is over". Along with the music, just a recipe for water works 😢😭😭

i love how people who don't understand the game watch it in the order the games came out, instead they could watch in chronological order even thouh that kinda spoils the storyline at least you now what you are watching plus it will make kh 3 soo muh easier.

KH1, KH2, KH BBS, KH Chain of Memories, KH 358/2 days, and then Recoded, and DDD. It just feels right for the old nostalgia, and it makes some of the mysteries in KH1, and 2 feel like actual mysteries rather than things we figure out as they show up because we know the backstory.

What nostalgia? CoM came out before KH2.
Plus, most of the mystery of KH2 is finding out about Roxas. That's why you play it before 358/2. But if you play it before CoM, with no idea why Sora lost his memories, who those people are, how the game started, et cetera, it can be more confusing than tense. Especially if you don't even play CoM until after BBS. A whole game later, any tension about Organization 13 will have been lost.

I'll never forget I got this game for free, at the start of my middle school summer vacation. I remember finding out about KH, and saw Donald, Goofy, and then Mickey was wearing a hood? I was like "Okay, I see y'all! About that life." Disney characters can kick ass? These were my thoughts then.
I know what happens to Roxas is extremely tragic, and I hope he'll either have a cameo or play an important role in KH 3 withe the seven lights, but having the background of playing Re-Com, and 358/2 days, poor Axel! All he wanted was his best friend back, and yet Roxas has absolutely no idea who he is, the organization is breathing down his spine, and he's probably just very confused and saddened.

I used to be so amazed by this game! I had never played any game like it at the time, so I felt like I was living in the future, cause the graphics and what not. Was a great PS2 game. I never completed, cause one of my asshat cousins decided to steal my memory cards.

you know, theres a mistake at the part where donald or goofy said, "HIS MAJASTY" in reference to king mickey where they said he banished pete out of disney world, when it was queen minnie who did in birth by sleep - considering the fact that king mickey was not around and was wandering from world to world training at that time, and right after pete was kicked out from disney world, maleficent called him out and summoned a portal leading to her as he accepted her request. they should have changed that in the remakes for PS3.
