I delivered supplies to most of the places you showed here, City Hall, the Police and Fire Department, the Schools, the churches, the parks, the hospitals and community health centers, and more. Not all that different, just a different vibe from a decade or two ago. Besides Frank Sinatra, Hoboken was the home of the very first Blimpie's on Washington Street (same folks ran the one on Broadway in Bayonne, and they're still there kickin' 'em out but under a different name), and also the setting for On the Waterfront with Marlon Brando all filmed on location back in the day. Glad you're doing these walkarounds, they're important and enjoyable.

There was a pizza shop called 5 star pizza. You could get a massive slice of pizza for $1.25. I moved when I was 12 to Miami but I wish I stayed there
Several of them are frat houses for Stevens, at least they were 50+ years ago. I lived in one that had been converted into apartments, but it has since been torn down and replaced with two narrow brownstone buildings.
GOOD, I graduated from Stevens this year and have gone back to my country. it brought me back a lot of happy memories. maybe no chance to come back to Hoboken in the future.

The streets are paved with mosaic and they are pretty smooth and flat, even though a gazillion tourists walk in it everyday. Unlike the cobblestone in NYC, where its uneven and people might trip on it. 😅

North to South it's about a mile and a quarter and from West to East it's about three-quarters of a mile. Currently 55,000 population.
