In this video, I explore the beautiful city of Hoboken, a city of roughly over 1 square mile, and 60.000 people. The city has beautiful architecture, tree lined streets, brownstones buildings and the beautiful waterfront with the view of Hudson River and Manhattan skyline. The main avenue is Washington Avenue, with wide sidewalks, lots of bars and restaurants. This city is in my opinion, one of the best cities in New Jersey. Hope you enjoy this video, stay tune for more.

Hoboken sets the example for the entire country on how to design a pedestrian safe city
@@georgelopez4193 - Hey, goofball, he said "pedestrian safe," which would mean road travels meshed with citizens commuting by foot.
@@georgelopez4193 - What does that have to do with what he's talking about? He's talking about the infrastructure aspect of getting around on foot and it being safer than most cities because of how Hoboken designed the streets and its laws.
@@georgelopez4193 - Do you not know what the word "pedestrian" means, you simpleton? I explain what he's talking about, and you still go back to the same dumb question that doesn't make sense for what he's talking about?! He's not talking about anything but being a pedestrian, not the overall safety of the city as far as crime. My god some people think 2+2= 22
Hoboken another great and beautiful city. My great aunt was born there in 1896 and her uncle before my time was fire chief. Awesome
Jersey born from Newark, living in Seattle and I was just daydreaming about Hoboken!! Great video!
Thank you, I lived in Newark for 12 years
Thanks for this one, Manny. Brought me back. I delivered supplies to most of the places you showed here, City Hall, the Police and Fire Department, the Schools, the churches, the parks, the hospitals and community health centers, and more. Not all that different, just a different vibe from a decade or two ago. Besides Frank Sinatra, Hoboken was the home of the very first Blimpie's on Washington Street (same folks ran the one on Broadway in Bayonne, and they're still there kickin' 'em out but under a different name), and also the setting for On the Waterfront with Marlon Brando all filmed on location back in the day. Glad you're doing these walkarounds, they're important and enjoyable.
Thank you for the info and glad you enjoyed the walk.
As a Hoboken resident, the best city in New Jersey. ❤ 😎
I agree
Is that why somebody got a bullet in their living room window because of a Projects being in the neighborhood. Nothing but drugs and crime and a lot of homeless people on Washington. Hoboken is not what he used to be.
Thanks for showing the beautiful city of Hoboken Nj.
Your welcome
I wouldn’t mind owning one of those brownstones. Beautiful neighborhoods!
Me either if I could afford it.
Several of them are frat houses for Stevens, at least they were 50+ years ago. I lived in one that had been converted into apartments, but it has since been torn down and replaced with two narrow brownstone buildings.
Beautiful brother! Thanks for this video!!
GOOD, I graduated from Stevens this year and have gone back to my country. it brought me back a lot of happy memories. maybe no chance to come back to Hoboken in the future.
OH yeah Hoboken is class.. just a tad expensive to live in lol.. great place though.. and good walk!
Thank you sir, I agree really expensive to live in.
Thanks Manny. Hoboken is definitely the most beautiful city in NJ!
I agree
NAA , Jersey City
very nice this makes me want to take a walk over there
You should.
I really like Hoboken; I'm moving to the NYC area when I retire and Hoboken is high on the list due to proximity to PATH, etc.
Hoboken is very convenient and easy commute into NYC.
Hi there. I'm a 23 year resident of Hoboken, and a local Realtor here (and Weehawken / Jersey City). Feel free to enjoy the property tours on my channel in case they can be helpful for you. When you're closer to coming up this way, I'd look forward to your email or call to discuss how I can help you navigate the area and the housing market. -Mike www.youtube.com/@HobokenRealtor
Hoboken ,I was born in Hoboken in St. Mary's hospital. Thx for the tour... I haven't been there for decades. 😊❤
You’re not missing out on nothing nothing but drugs here in crime somebody got a bullet in their condominium window because of a Projects nearby
Hi manny, nice video....ur premieres looking better every time. Next time you're in asia, u might wanna visit Macau. Architecture is amazing there with Portugal influence. The streets are paved with mosaic and they are pretty smooth and flat, even though a gazillion tourists walk in it everyday. Unlike the cobblestone in NYC, where its uneven and people might trip on it. 😅
I've heard a lot about Macau, it's also the Vegas of Asia but I would like to visit it because of its Portuguese architecture.
Beautiful neighborhood.
I love ❤ Hoboken.
Me too
Very much like perhaps Park Slope in Brooklyn.
Cool video! I am going to NYC for a week in September and want to see other parts of the metropolitan New York area than the five boroughs within the city. Hoboken is definitely one of the places I am going to check out. Greetings from Sweden.
Awesome, highly recommend checking out hoboken, easy PATH train ride to NYC
Great you can take the PATH from WTC station to Hoboken, please visit the great bar’s crossing the street there is the Texas Arizona one of my favorites, and the delicious pizza from Basile that is showed at the beginning of this great video.
darn it just missed you! sophisticated town this is.
It's a really cool town.
I'd be interested in a walking or cycling tour through New Brunswick
if possible, bc I have no idea how feasible it would be😅
That hospital at 7:20 used to be called Saint Mary's Hospital. But that was years and years ago. Now, since like 10 or 20 years ago, (I can't remember exactly in what year, but years ago) is now called Hoboken University Medical Center. This hospital is owned by CarePoint. CarePoint owns other hospital in the area.
Thats pretty interesting to know.
Greetings from Istanbul,Turkiye.
Greetings from USA
good
You should have shown more of the waterfront! It’s beautiful, everything from the soccer field to the train station is a delight
Indeed it is beautiful, but I've already cover the waterfront in the past, and I wanted to focus more in the neighborhood, since most of the people just focus on the waterfront and not into the actual neighborhood that has a lot to offer.
No videos showing Hoboken waterfront highrises to be found. I am sure they deserve one. Instead you find tons of video showing NYC skyline from Hoboken and lots of paving blocks, railing and trees
Hi there. You may find a few here. Enjoy - www.youtube.com/@HobokenRealtor/videos
Missed the premiere Manny, but here enjoying the beautiful city of Hoboken, so this city's name consists of 3 syllables, Ho-bo-Ken? Good to know, because with my english I'd pronounce it Ho-boken,😂👍Cool fun fact to know, Hoboken was Frank Sinatra's home.😊
No worries, Hoboken is a beautiful city, and yes it's Frank Sinantra's hometown.
Some place gave me a brooklyn vybz
You keep on saying its smalll...this place pretty big from what i saw, shout out from South Africa!
It looks big but the city is roughly a little bit bigger than a square mile. Respect to South Africa 🇿🇦 ✊🏾
You should do Center City Philadelphia!
Definitely, im due for another visit to Philly
Hi Manny,
I just finished watching your video. Is it worth having a vehicle in Hoboken? Just wanted to get your opinion on it
Not really worth having a vehicle there since it's hard to find parking and a really walkable city.
@@MannyExploresVlog thanks for the response!
Manny, you have nice speaking voice. You should do speaking, something to do with your channel.
Thank you, I've had a few people tell me that I have a good voice.
Hey manny
I would be surprised if Hoboken don't have a Statue of Sinatra .
¿have you visited the hoboken zoo?
Those were Canadian geese 😀
HADOKEN!
Is rent better there? NYC is expensive.
Hoboken is really expensive too, but you might get better amenities with your money.
@@MannyExploresVlog
I figured since nyc is next store. Thank you.
Best city for pedestrians and cyclists
Safe travel spot? I did the mistake of staying in bloomfield new jersey not knowing it was the hood😆😆
I was born in J.C. and lived in Hoboken! It's pronounced Hobo ken not can.
