Take a good look at Bhante Ajan's life story. He was not scared to find new goals in his young academic life. He is a famous well known Australian Buddhist monk. He change his country and nationality young age. You need to be resilient to fulfil your dreams and goals. I left Sri Lanka age of 21 with my 25 year old husband. We adopted new country and became citizens in that beautiful country. Sri Lanka is not only the beautiful country on earth. You can achieve mindfulness any corner in world if you are happy and live peacefully to present. Political situations should be fixed by the governments. Our job only to give our choice by vote. Worrying and expecting government to do everything for you no good. Do your best to any country you live. You need to be honest person and be kind to others. Anger and frustration won't take you further. Work hard for your goals.
Everything in our mind. Lord. Buddha have shown the way to real happiness.If we practice that path we can find it without delay. How sad if we can't get it when that truth is all around us. May all be practice it one day.

Dear Monk, please try to learn Abhidhamma too. If you learn Abhidhamma you will realize that it contains the profound philosophy of Buddha's teachings which only Lord Buddha could explain which is the ultimate truth about the mind of the beings, specially humans. The true realization of Buddha's teachings can only be achieved when you understand Abhidhamma. Please don't say it's hard and impossible to understand. Abhidamma, if you learn it with the help of a wise teacher, is not at all hard. In fact it is quite interesting and you will actually feel that your thinking capacity expands as you learn. Abhidamma gave me a better understanding of human mind. It is the very core of Buddha's teachings. In order to prove what you have been saying about Abhidhamma, you must learn Abhidamma.
