Singing Western Meadowlark

Today, the western meadowlarks were out singing their springtime song. I spent a few hours today on Antelope Island doing some bird watching and came across this meadowlark singing atop some sagebrush. Usually the western meadowlark is a hard bird to approach for a video but during spring when they are getting ready to breed, they tend to let their guard down a bit and show off as they defend their territory and try and attract a mate.
