sorry but the reg is key if that reg doesnt match up at the collection point then its a no go and the shipper should check the reg on the cx..otherwise what the point of trusted the reg should be on the trusted system if they have 1 or 5 10 vehicles
I really wanted to start in the business last year but I got the hebegeebees when I heard all the stories about the CX and how people where operating cindicuts and co loads and how difficult it was to get fair rates
Hi Dave, great video as always. Regarding alarm going off - had similar issue - alarm been randomly going off without anyone near van - been due to battery issues. If will still keep going off possibly thats the issue.
Does anyone know whats happened to Firkin Freight on youtube? Cant see their vids anymore. Great vid Dave as always 👍🏻
Toby from Firkin isn’t in the game anymore
@@anvillogistics477 what a shame. Those guys did some great content alongside yourself and a Freddie Fletcher ltd
Maybe if the CX reduces membership fees it would possible drown out the syndicates.
As for coloaders i would like to think once the coloaders had gone off course for the journey they instantly get struck off CX, thats where CX should be policing it better
What about drivers hours .....same as hgv
Have you tried Shipley for work I no someone make alot of money out of it.
Should be a fix price and ban backload prices to make it fair
Return load prices eventually become the outbound prices ...transport has always been a cut throat business.
Don't do any job that doesn't cover your costs and make a profit on top .
EVER .
My sprinter used to have infrared sensors in the cab, passenger would set it off by moving to change radio dog lifting her head when sat on chair would too.
Maybe your van has picked up on the moving leaves against the window
I found out this week shippers are doing it too
Couriers as a whole including those serving the gig economy are near breaking point. We are one of the most unrewarded and undervalued industrial sectors in the UK
I agree 💯 dave, syndicates, Co-loaders, flip-flops, all cheating and destroying the market. I've been on CX, 2 years+ and this year is the worst year for rates and work. Its impossible to get a normal rates out of most places now on CX. It needs policing much better by CX otherwise its going to die.
Glad to see you got a new shirt
Hi 👋🏻 Dave. It’s always a pleasure listening to you moaning lol 😂 No football ⚽️ so have a great weekend and hopefully 🤞🏻 next week will be as rewarding as this week for you matey 🤩
And on top of syndicates, you forgot or maybe you don't know, about people with foreign vans, i meet one last week in Wellingborough, polish number plate and he live in Derby. I ask him how is work this and he tell me everything is cheaper than uk(insurance and so on) and he just need to get out of uk every few months and come back, probably with cx euro. And he knows few peoples who do same like him. So good luck with that 😂😂😂😂
Do you ever use the left lane .....just a thought.
Try to but I see what you mean, I’ll make a conscious effort
What about all customers check drivers picture I'd name against person booking job
Amount of times I go into places and they just release shipment to me
OK go in with high viz phone looking part but very rarely have I been asked for extra I'd such as driving licence
There's a courier company based in the ng area who's charging £125 per week to use his cx membership and his got 7 drivers on his account that's awful
Who would pay that, cx is cheaper?
So easy to make a statement like that without naming names! Come on, who is the cheating bastard?
If you don't want to mention who is doing that, then perhaps you should tell the CX?
im in NG area and its really hard atm because of these could you pm me who they are ?? i know of one stoke way to and hes a horrible person biggest fraud going

Drivers who don't have the right credentials or the correct insurance!
Disgusting!!!!
We are drivers, we were born to moan, whinge and whine, I do it all the time !
I'll tell you exactly what's ruining it for us; braindead courier companies/owner drivers (more leaning to the side of sameday courier companies with thousands of customers because they're cheap to book with) allowing THEIR customer to dictate the price and the payment terms. 60pplm is not a good price for small van work, and £1 a mile is not a good price for LWB work. Some of the American couriers get paid for a round trip and don't have to get return work. Why should it be any different over here?
People don't wanna pay? Let them get a uShip clown to run a 300-mile job for £120 with no straps or correct insurances. Then, when it goes to shit they might have a thought, other than the air in the head, that maybe next time they should pay a premium and get someone proper 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄😑😑😑😑😑
Just my opinion, it really grinds my gears 😂😂
Well said 👏🏻👏🏻
Totally agree
There is a CX member event coming up 12th if you book a spot you can ask the CX directly What are they doing about Syndicates & unauthorised Co-loading & maybe if can introduce a minimum charge for vehicle types, Register with them & book a spot & you a known courier Utuber can get some answers for us minions 🤔
I’m a minion too, and quite frankly don’t fancy going to that
@@anvillogistics477
I presuming it’s an online podcast type meet ? Maybe your pal’s saintsman ( the always on target £1000 a week man ) should book a spot or even 🤔the Neptune courier might get him a few more subscribers
@@vanroamin I’m sure it’s at a venue in the West Mids somewhere
It's in Solihull
Mobile phones are trackable
A lot of the co loaders turn off their trackers on the CX app, anyone who does that should be suspended in my opinion
@@anvillogistics477
Totally agree with you.
You are paying and running honestly and therefore you have a right to moan 👍
How many miles is she on now
39000
Not even run in until you get to around 120,000 👍
