Galveston Fishing Pier Adventure |91st Street Pier|
After no catch at San Luis Pass, we decided to go to our old trusty Pier. Every year we spend almost every day of vacation here. The kids generally catch Whiting, Croaker and Bonnet Head. Its always fire for these boys. The small catches they cut up and use for bait in addition to shrimp and squid.
On this day there was a south wind at 11mph and the low tide is at 6pm. Reports of small shark, gafttop and croaker. We fished with Sea Shad and Sting Ray. Something kept tearing up the bait, we think it was Sting Rays. Watch to enjoy a nice calm evening fishing the Gulf of Mexico!
