    They don't make boxers like Evander Holyfield anymore. Holyfield v Bowe 1 and the first Qawi fight just shows how good the fighters were just 20 years back. Evander Holyfield, one of the best yet.

    One of my all time favorites people forget how nice a guy Evander was.
    He never said a bad word about anyone.Never talked trash and always showed respect to people no matter who they was.I remember finding it odd he would always praise fighters that beat him and NEVER make excuses for himself.Would come back stronger next time and win! Fans loved him win or loose because we knew he would always give it his all.A true technician that could dominate larger guys in close.
    He was the Real Deal

    One of the all time greats. Honestly, i don't know if there's a fighter OTHER than Muhammad Ali who was involved in MORE great fights than Holyfield.
    The best way to judge a fighter's greatness is the competition he faced, NOT his overall record. It seemed like ALL of Holyfield's fights were WARS.

    Seriously
    To this day may fans refuse to accept Tysons losses.Claiming the head butt was the reason.It was the product of two guys ducking going in on each other.Tyson was used to people going backwards and being afraid.People forget how technical Evander was for a big guy "one" of the best.
    IMO they could have fought 10 times and the result would have been the same.He just had Tysons ticket and Tyson couldn't adapt.

    Evander Holyfield is the real boxer with amazing stamina. To Tyson's fans, Holyfield destroyed Tyson not just once but twice. Losers come up with all kinds of excuses such as head butting. Don't tell me that Tyson never head buts. He's actually very good at it. I'm 100% sure that Riddick Bowe would have destroyed Tyson.

    @BtXpGaming 11 лет назад +1

    Tyson even admitted he was a beaten desperate man. He didnt bite cuz of headbutts head butts happen all the time.. unintentional it was due to the height diffrence Tyson fought low. hands up so when tyson came in close top of his head was chin level with holyfield.....tyson initiated the clinches....therefore causing the headbutt so if tyson was tired of headbutts stop rushing inside. Its a desperate man with a last ditch effort to at least cause holyfield pain..

    also evander is 50 and still fights. he has taken on 7ft -300lb+ russian and was competitive and IMO was robbed on cards. tyson was considered a shot fighter by 23. till this very day. the 2 men get in the ring and Evander would still give the same results. his resume and record show he was real deal not mike. look mike gets KO from lennox and buster. and evander draws with lennox and KOs buster.

    What all those fights are you talking about, He struggled with brun, lost to douglas,looked like an idiot koing tillman and stewart and struggled twice with ruddock when he shouldnt have struggled, allowed mcneeley to throw shots all over him in their first round, looked off balance vs bustoer mathis jr, a guy I could have beaten!! Tyson was finished after the spins fight.

    • @Lovegun.

      Yeah thats true. Thats the thing, he was very very sneaky. He didnt outwardly foul like other fighters.

  • @fadethetrade
    @fadethetrade 11 лет назад

    AGreed,however, tyson lost his techniques of movement and combination shots double lefts/rights all the things damato taught him, after 1988, not after jail. After jail, he was even worse then after 1988.Look at his fights with bruno, douglas and ruddock. Those three should have been simple wins for the classic tyson but he struggled in all of them and lost one of them.Bruno shoudl have nbeen easier then bonecrusher smith and douglas shoudlnt have been anything worse the tillis and tucker

  • @fadethetrade
    @fadethetrade 11 лет назад +1

    Yeah and francois botha figured him out as well before the lucky shot. So in your dumb mind, botha would have fdone the same thing to the tyson who fought in 1988 when being compared to ali already before his 22nd birthday. Yeah sure.

  • @BtXpGaming
    @BtXpGaming 11 лет назад

    all about matchups holyfield was a bad matchup for tyson. as was lennox lewis Tyson could not get inside on either without getting pelted. so he bit evander because he literally had barley touched him...and tyson never experience just being outclassed. buster douglas fight tyson woulda never lost if he gave a damn...cus was gone he was outta shape and that title meant jack shit to him nemore....buster douglas got lucky as fuck

  • @fadethetrade
    @fadethetrade 11 лет назад

    you need to change what you're smoking, In the first bruno fight, rooney was home watching it on TV BRO! He already fired rooney and lott and left the rooney camp right after the spinks fight, bruno was a bad fight for tyson, DOuglas would beat the same tyson that faced bruno in 1989.You need to get your years in order.

  • @BtXpGaming
    @BtXpGaming 11 лет назад

    mike tyson lost that fight through not trainin or giving a fuck/ it was all for cash. tysons heart was not in that fight...and if u happen to b n mma fan. anderson silva loss to weidman showed the same thing...if u think hey ima show up destory this dude outta shape and make bank....thats when u wake up staring at the rafters

    Evander WAS a GREAT FIGHTER!
    Everybody (maybe not he) do know that it is long time to retire! But one thing I can never hear "I beat Mike Tyson so easy blabla"-from fans- that is NOT right!
    The 1 fight was one of the best fights in the 90s! Tyson hurts Evander too sometimes VERY VERY HARD! The second fight-no commentar-this just makes writing bullshit.
    What I don´t like at Evander is this "I am so Christian etc" - I mean this men has 9 (?) or more children with 5 (?) or more (both gg) women!
