I could listen to this amazing car all day. Makes the hair's on the back of my neck stand on end when he accelerates. What an incredible sound! Flat six all the way! 😎
This is my grail car. It is the definition of perfection in a car. Fast, light, good sounding, stunning to look at, all mechanical with no electronics helping you, and one of the most badass cars of all time. I will have one very similar to this one, one day.
The slow shifting is probably due to the nature of the transmission. The 915 transmission is a bit notchy at times, and somewhat vague, my guess is that he doesn't want to go into the wrong gear, what makes the effect greater is the light flywheel which drops the RPMs very low as soon as he is out of gear. This car isn't about 0-60 times, if you've ever driven an ari cooled 911 you'll be very happy with 10 second 0-60.
Are you nuts?!?!?!? I have made more than 400000Km with 2 911´s with G50´s. They were pretty quick doing 0-100km, on dry or slippery conditions (awesome grip/transmission). Even in today's standards... Regards.
@@mrjdgibbs Sounds the same as my MR2 going in reverse lol. Also I need to shift slowly to and from 2nd gear because of synchros. I heard these old 911's can be quite finnicky with gear changes as well. Shows that the driver is experienced, unlike all these "slow shift" callers.
Some guy's think they know everything! Noise at brakes...... because DS3000 racing pads. Little noise to first gear....... new pilot bearing, was not run in at that moment so it turns the gear shaft a little longer then normal. Long time shifting...... not that long that you think. Look inside views. And was before modify the shifting lever mechanisme of the 915. It revs also so fast that it look like the shift time is longer then the gas time. The gears are very short. Seatbelts...... i did cross it at later time because it was better.
You miss the entire point. Drive the car like its supposed to be driven, be it a Porsche or Civic. If you can't afford to fix it, you shouldn't own it. AND, the entire point of making a video of driving a fast car is to drive the car fast, not scared of hurting it. I would suggest the producers of the car/video get some seat time before filming, and lube those calipers!
Prachtige porsche! Complimenten mooie specs en built off. Alleen de kleur......mmmm had een kleurtje gekozen uit de reeks van rsr IROC. Is er ook een 001?!
If i had this amounts of money, instead of all the overated lambo's, McLarens, r35's, new Porsches, i would buy this thing, i would tune it a bit, this thing can prolly go ~220mph
They look a lot like the Ronal wheels I recently bought for my SC. Very similar centres, though mine are not a 3 piece rim which these look to be. They could also be made by the guys in the US, Fifteen52, that make Magnus Walkers custom wheels
Voor diegene die het geld hebben: hij staat te koop, kwam 'm net tegen op Autoscout... ik ben geen Porsche-fanaat, gelukkig ben ik wel een classics fanaat, wat een pracht ding.
Sorry, no resemblance to a 911 3.0 RSR that were built in 1975 and 1975. 964 Engine 3.6, incorrect, or almost nothing of the car. It's just a model to walk. You look like a real 3.0 RSR, lol
+Xentenon you really do come across as pretty unintelligent with such a post. I live in Bristol UK if you ever fancy repeating that to my face. My guess is you are an important internet warrior. Silly boy
@@ironicchannelname6457 Yes carbon ceramic brake disc do make noise but this car has steel disc brakes. It's the ds3000 race pads that are unforgivingly loud.
Ehh, kinda hack, Mish mash of parts. I'm not a complete purist but over stylized is becoming a porsche thing. Engine does sound good, squeaky brakes sound legit. Gas filler cap is hideous and interior has way to much material.

just wait until i put a v8 in one 😂

First thing I would do if I’d win the lottery would be to buy something like this and going on a month long road trip around Europe. What-a-car!
Very well done! Not too over the top, just right. Love the exhaust note; because it is custom, no other PCar has that exact note.
Gaaf ding, ook een dikke kleur!

It looks like a 964/993 engine, not with a 915 gearbox for sure.
It sure sounded like an old 915 when he put it into gear.

Oil cooled 911s are a work of art.
Looks gorgeous, sounds gorgeous...
Love the calm shots and pure sound!
Very nice vehicle, thanks for sharing!
I wish old 911s weren’t so expensive nowadays
Nice car! A nice way to save yourself from the slipping seat belts is to cross the attachment points in the back :)
Very enjoyable video.Nice Porsche very nice.Very tasteful
It sounds and looks amazing!
anything could beat this 0-60 with those shift times
Guy shifts like he's swimming in molasses.
stunning
OH MY FUCKING GOD
Like the color of the 911. Can you tell me brand and color? Shout out from Southern California.

This car is op
What color is this?
2 hours to change gear
I know right
Clearly neither of you have had to pay to get a 911s transmission rebuilt or clutch changed. You can bang gears in your Civic.

Look at those harness positions... this is a joke. lol whats the point of the harness?

didn't bed in those brakes properly... :( awesome car though!
Those brake calipers' pistons should have been set a 20 degree angle to minimize squelching
Who's Here Because of Black bird car?
1:42 owie
What, no air conditioning pump???
The brake screeching would drive me nuts... fix it!
It's most likely running racing pads, which do squeal and is something you have to live with if you want the performance on track.
The rev meter seems to be severely drunk.
2:20 Where did that shitty Renault come from?

Lol die gast rijdt gewoon ff door het kippenbos bij bleskensgraaf. Moet je ook niet savonds komen overigens, haha.
RedBull
Car looks good but that electronic distributor looks hideous 🤦♂️
Is there a reason as to why he's shifting so fucking slow??
Probably something with the clutch.
+zGiLL♛ Yes, because there is no reason to slam it into gear when you're not racing.
Deborah Struve Even when not racing, no one shifts like a potato.
+zGiLL♛ if you've ever driven one you get it
ditkanaalfaalt enlighten me
Shame the guy doesn't know how to rev match on downshifts

Decals on such a car are just not right. Lovely car other than the gearbox and brake sounds. Take the decals off, for god sake

997 facelift better....
Wow almost hits to people walking across the road and the shoulder harness is horrible and not even tight.
It's painful to watch really nice cars being driven by people who only just passed their drivers licence test.
Burn the brakes
Lolipop seats......beurk
You might want to slow down a bit with cyclists and pedestrians about, at least until you get those squeaky suspect brakes sorted? Just sayin’
My grandma would have driven faster
1st gear synchos a bit worn....brakes squeel....
