Well you sound convinced 😄 I get it, you proved your point. This 911 is great and represents quite a unique experience. The fact that you can have a tailor made 911. Wonderful 😎
I drove a original 911 3.0 SC Targa, the only thing was not original was the wheels a 16" with a pair of Yokohama's. It's a blast to drive, that wheels and tires just transformed the car, just got bags of grip and that front end just came alive. No ABS or assisted steering wheel for me was clearly one of the best drives I've ever had, in the right hands they really fly. Nice video 👍
Lovely shots, great editing and a comprehensive review. Good that the weather was horrendous so that revving the car high up was out of question as the rev counter was not working. :)
the build dont look that good tbh, alot of details are missing like the rubber quick release on the bonnet and the rear also the fitment and proportions with the front bumper and ducktail just look odd, rather would keep it stock if its not build correctly with the details also the 4s as a base car was the first mistake :D
A wonderful report. The funny thing about the whole look-alike discussion is that it's mostly those who don't know how to use it. I'm not going to drive a magnesium original at the limit when a C2/C4 conversion offers the IDENTICAL driving pleasure. I am currently planning to building a 964 3.8 RSR. Surprisingly, I don't have € 600,000 for an original base. It makes my feet fall asleep: Base 30k and after two years I have a car that I love. As a German, I can tell you what this craze for originality causes: less enthusiastic people on the streets when they see such a car. NEVER do 98% of the people recognise whether the machine is original or look-a-like. Precisely because the originals are rotting in Dubai with dry seals. DP Motorsport in Germany realised this DECADES ago (!): it is a car for enthusiasts. And they work hard for it. Then it may also be that it is not a matching number. It will be somewhere at the lake...And I don´t mean Lakeside Classics for sure
Would love something like this but everything classic / modern classic has really shot up hasn’t it. No longer is it a case of a few grand to buy and tens of thousands to tinker over 5 or 10 years, now the cars are starting at 30-70k 😩
What does this have to do with an iroc beyond the bumpers? Those are turbo flares. Not iroc. Iroc was the car that originated the whale tail. Also There were only ever 15 iroc rsr made not 55. Great video but facts matter when it comes to porsche.
Replica is when you want to make something very similar for a lower price. Recreation is when you modernize older cars, make them better and it usually becomes more expensive.
@@davidmusil4145 Modernize older cars? But this Iroc used to be a modern 964, now it’s back dated to look like an older car. A replica of an old car. Isn’t it?
Who the hell do you hang out with? Porsche haters? Anti "recreation"/modification/only-original-the-way-it-left-the-factory guys? Go find some real car guys to hang with. And just as a trivial aside: the original IROC 911s never had ducktails. Still pretty tho.
I raced in the IROC era and those initials stood for "I Race Off Course"
Proper drivers car ... i just love these! Great vid! Looking forward to more.
Thanks buddy! More to come
@@scd look forward to it brother 👊🏻
Lovely soundtrack Matt.....250bhp on 15" Fuchs.....What's not to like....? Great colour too...😎👌
Well said! Thanks for watching
Might let matt drive my E30 M3 when I finish it..... 👌@@scd

Great video. Thanks for taking the time to make it.
Great flat 6 sound!

What another lovely example of what you can do with Porsche beautiful engineering.
Wonderful creation🤗
Wonderful video as always🤗
Thanks for watching 🏁❤️
Great video , love old 911s I had one in 1983ish when I was 5 , a Matchbox one. Love the looks , these restomods work if done right
A great Cigar, a Fine Scotch( after) ,an exquisite timepiece and the visceral reverberations of an aircooled 911 is life orgasm of many men.
One of the bests looking I have seen.
Nice work guys! Car looks and sounds great!
Great video
The quality of these videos and clarity is always incredible
Sounds GOOD !
Love them madly.
I would give anything to have this retro model than the new models...
What a thing.. 💙
Nice video.
Beautiful.
Solid video- I don’t think I can do better shooting my 1974 Iroc review tomorrow.
Nice vid - 964 should have PAS as standard I thought?

great shot @0:26 🍄
Love it!
Thanks!!
The only way to drive a Porsche is at the limit.
Says someone who knows
I'm pretty sure the iroc 911s had a big whale tail spoiler like the 3.0 turbo?

The fitment on that ducktail wasn't done it very well. There huge gaps in between the quarter panel.
Glad I'm not the only one to notice, that would drive me crazy as an owner!
@@jameseast8510 the car looks nice afar. But there is a lot of flaws when you look closer on the body work.
@@CCP_zhongguo_sai_B yes exactly, it's a great concept, just wish it was executed better.
The rear light centre fill piece would have been retrofitted, plus a poorly fitted/fitting rear lid
Why you letting the rain come in the car driving with window down

we just got the Same car
Sorry to ask ......whats the 2 lines on the o/s sill ?
Oil cooler lines
What’s the difference between a “recreation” and a replica?

Semantics!
I just can’t get on with those floor hinges peddles
I used to get pains in my ankles until I got used to them but I grew to like them.
God, the UK is grim.
It can be 😂 dreadful day
The car looks good but that lower front fender looks like a cheap chinese aftermarket part
Pretty gross to call it an iroc rsr and have it 4wd.
Nobody cares about the Porsche purity folks. Modify the hell out of them!
