It saddens me that people in the US are dying for refusing a vaccine thst is available to them while here in my country the Philippines people are desperate to get the vaccine but is unavailable.

I said in April/May (when the anti vaccine fervor was really getting it's start) that we should start sending those declined vaccines to other, poor nations immediately. Blast it nonstop on the major media that we were doing it. Not only is it the right thing to do, but Americans are selfish beyond comprehension. The same anti-vaxxers would have been standing in line for it if it meant that a brown/black person in another country couldn't get what they thought was theirs. It's some sick reverse psychology but I think it may have worked to get more ppl here to get vaccinated. I know my Americans and we're pretty screwed up.
The thing is my friend, that the vaccines are not that safe either. I live in the Netherlands and we don't hear about young people dying from covid. (Only a rare few) So noone sees the danger. But lots of people are experiencing bad side effects from the vaccine. Also, since it doesn't give sterile immunity, the vaccinated are the ones passing on the virus, having it mutate into agressive forms due to great evolutionary pressure. Monday all schools open without any messurements, no masks, no distance, not even quarantine. Science is being denied. This mess is far from over!

Vaccines are causing the delta variant. The government created the pandemic for control. If you can't see that, you're blind... but that again that was obvious considering the people that are doing this certainly aren't atheist. They want to be our Gods.
Agnostic here. Although there are a few prominent religious people that think science and religion are compatible, they aren't.
Science is about proving things through a process. Religion is about ignoring the facts and just having "faith" which is not a process.

Thoughts and prayers have always been a political talking point to justify inaction. The Bible heavily emphasizes having faith, yes, but also working towards an end at the same time. If all we needed was faith then it should be fine to walk into traffic. He didn't say anything about rewarding stupidity. I'm glad there are preachers like this who actually convey the full message instead of a convenient half truth used to be complacent.

Actually it doesn't. People donate from online just the same. Plus the operating costs for the building would be less and the members are safer.
Churches I know are sophisticated enough to allow you to pay your tithe using a credit card. Did that during the pandemic. And yes, we did our services online.

The irony is modern medicine and the scientific method and the basis of science survived the Middle Ages because of monks and priests etc bodies of the church worked to preserve and discover more medicines and their works in botany many of which from Europe from the 5-15th century is now lost to time.
If you were a person that believed in the church so much your prayers aren’t enough. God gave fellow man the intelligence to figure out a vaccine. It’s not 100% effective but surely you take it as a sign of god that it’s a tool to help you.

Over and over again there are reports of church goers who get infected and die. Is there any statistics, how many church goers have been hospitalized or/and died compared to people who don´t go to church?
Let them do what they want, it's their freedom of religion. Imagine if someone forced you denounce your own beliefs.
The CDC, WHO, and ALL governments purposely waited 2-4 months to announce Covid, they are all single handedly responsible, you can't shift blame to average people, that's by definition insanity. We have a church member that passed away last week. It shocked us all because it happened so fast, from him feeling normal to not being able to breathe in just days. It's very saddening since he's a really close friend.
God bless them and their loved ones including the ones they lost from covid.
I am 65 years old, type 2 diabetic and have not been sick since this pandemic started over one year ago. I take vitamins, I have changed my diet, get 30 minutes of sunshine daily but most of all my trust is in the God of the Bible not in the "science" of man. I will leave earth when my purpose for living on earth is complete and not before. I do not live in fear because my love for God is mature. 1 John 4:18.
Thank you Pastor Davis, I don’t know if the vaccine works or if it can help me keep my sons, grandchildren & myself safe but, what I do know is people are dying all over the world, if I was responsible for any of them getting sick or die from Covid I wouldn’t be able to live with myself.. So, I received my 1st dose a couple of weeks ago and I will be getting my 2 nd dose in the next couple of days. I thank you again for being honest with your congregation and asking them to please “roll up your sleeves.”

Sadly, a whole demographic of Americans continue to display a complete lack of intelligence. If the government actually had any desire to track its citizens it would be far easier to do so using the mobile phone that virtually everyone is unable to leave a room without. There are cameras on every corner, at ATMs, there are dash cams and many more locations. One has to question what possible reason would the government choose to track anyone.? Unless you're doing something that motivates an awareness of your activities it's highly unlikely anyone has any interest. Americans have a reputation around the world of believing everything revolves around them and their actions continue to display exactly that.
I struggle every day to empathise for anti vaxxers who become ill.

Right, god put the scientific thoughts in the scientists' brains. It couldn't be that they spent most of their life studying, learning, experimenting, and working with other human beings... Just got my first shot @work yesterday they had a vax drive. My wife was mad at me but somebody here had to step up and take it. What happens if i accidentally give it to her and we both die. Im not about to hand over my children to foster care system that easily.
Good for you! When your wife sees that you don't have anything more severe than a little sore arm or a slight fever on the second shot (keep some Paracetamol on hand), she'll be encouraged to get the vaccine herself. I had my second shot of Moderna about a month ago. Stay safe!
@@TheFeldhamster yes thank you and same to you. I'm good to go no problems or side effects and 2days later my arm is back to normal. I definitely will be getting the second shot on the 15th of September. Will also continue doing as we have been to keep staying safe.

Remember obesity rates are quite high in the US. Obesity is a major risk factor. In the Netherlands everyone in that age group cycles every day, not that many obese people in NL.
Also, it didn't happen with the original variant, this Delta variant is another story.
@@TheFeldhamster true. But we have delta too, it's still somewhat managble with measurements. (Distancing, avoiding crowds,etc) And yes I do believe we dutch people eat a lot more healthy foods. I hope that's enough to prevent a disaster.
@@rememberallah5201 and Dutch people tend to be a lot more pragmatic and level headed in my experience (my brother lived in NL for several years, so I know a bit). You guys don't rebel against masks and other sensible measures like some Americans because "freedom". So, there's probably much less Covid per capita than in those Republican undervaxxed parts of the US. Less infected people = less chance for people to die.
Cameras on every corner and a phone in every pocket I don't think the government needs to add a tracker to our bodies!

Depends on which vaccine you are referring to. Not all use mrna technology that was 20 years in the works.
Good for him, at least he's trying to educate people. But I have to say, "praying for your members to get vaccinated" won't do much.

I got vaccinated even though I was reluctant. But this is an unprecedented battle that we are all part of. So I was vaccinated to help protect my friends and loved ones AND I continued to wear a mask for the same reason.
A few months ago most people in stores were maskless and I was stared at. Now, there are a significant number of people wearing masks again. The way I see it, I wear raincoats in the rain, snow boots in the snow, clothes and shoes when I go outside. A mask is just another thing to wear for protection and to protect other people from my nakedness in public. A no-brainer!

Misinformation is not to blame, people are, why are we constantly blaming systems, misinformation or inanimate objects for problems instead of people? People are the ones who make choices not things or concepts. As long as we continue to avoid blaming people we will continue this nonsense.

Having pastors promote and host vaccination drives sounds like a really good idea. Might help some people who are hesitant to make that last step to get vaccinated.
