I think rally Croatia is becoming my favorite of the season : tricky stages, very narrow and curvy fast roads, lots of cuts and big crests, and quite a few jumps actually! Maybe this is like rally Finland but on tarmac lol
Absouletly agree! Tehnicaly difficult, tricky in every single way, also very fast for the road configuration!
If you ask me this Powerstage is the best on the calendar, and incredible drive by Thierry!

I don't want a whole lot of WRC, but _GOOD LORD_ this feels like the most technical tarmac stage I've ever seen. All those undulations, off camber bits, jumps, mixed surfaces, and crazy back-to-back turns just looked incredibly stressful to navigate. Super impressive to watch!!

I tried watching Neuville's face for a moment, and I swear he blinked less than 30 times over the whole run. That's concentration.
That one big blink @2:33 was enough for the whole stage :D
I am from Croatia and my dream came true a month ago when one of croatian driver drowe me on these roads in his Toyota Yaris while training for rally. The speed and control of a car on these narrow roads is just unbelievable. It can only be experienced while you are in the car.

Definition of ripping a stage. The jump at 2:32 almost gave them concussion..
I don't think the pilot even registered anything, he didn't skip a bit. They were very close to crashing with such upset car, driver saved that nicely and it looked like he was just shaking off the landing :D

That was one wild ride for sure, amazing driving from Thierry and his co-driver. I wonder if Thierry even flinched his eyes once under the entire stage, he looked superfocused.

the pov here is not nice .To bad wrc is not making driver pov onboards ,they looks so sick in other rallies ,way better than World class Rally
@@lukasmorski-zmij8030 they do. There is a lot of different camera angles inside the car. But WRC don't use it and I have no idea why.

I've never understood the need to show the inside of the car as the main view. It doesn't add any value to the video. We can see everything there is to see from the smaller window.

Portugal and Croatia are my favourite rallys! I was hoping for this one, and also hoping for a victory for Craig after what he did last time in sweden. Well that was ruined for sure. Now Portugal well be seen in person, pitty Ogier won't be there.

What a drive! Absolute blinder.
The driving is so brutal that youtube's compression struggles to keep the bitrate in check for the video, so we end up with quite a lower resolution. Nevertheless thank you! That video is the highlight of the day.

@@NuclearSpinach depends on how wide the road is. Sometimes you have to reverse for a few meters, sometimes you just move to the side slightly

there is not much traffic on those roads, it is not very populated.
