Just a note, this will be a 6 bot combiner. The Tsw boards have toabao screenshots stating there will be a gorilla which will combine into the upper thighs / waist. With the lion as the obvious Torso like he always has been.
Thanks for the info. I was seriously hoping that would be the case because otherwise the lion would have to be huge! The Devastator route makes much more sense.
This is on it's way to me from China, I can't wait! My first MP figure, have also put a deposit down for the reissues of the other two. Definitely intend to get the full set! Thank you for a great vid
Turned up in a week, but despite being brand new and sealed the instructions were missing and I've just found the knee ratchet joint is barely holding together so the seller is contacting the manufacturer to see what my options are. Still an amazing looking figure, those wings are spectacular!
Cool, but too busy for me. If I didn't know this was supposed to be Divebomb I wouldn't know it was Divebomb. Still looking forward to seeing the completed Predaking.
I love these figures, have the first 2, and can’t wait for this guy. If I had a nitpick, it’s that I wish they would have a dedicated spot to put a decepticon symbol on them. Especially if you want to put them where their g1 counterparts have them.
Considering they will be making an Optimus Primal esque gorilla member for the predacon team to work as the hips and thighs, I am quite confident that Razorclaw will be in scale with rest of the figures.
not a hug efan of this idea, i prefer having this gorilla as a new predacon, not a big fan of BW and his concept and "Optimus primal" don't like that name
I do miss the orange he mostly was in my memory, and I should find his wings, detailing (as with the whole set) a bit gaudy and 'rococo' style - a bit much - but, yeah, he looks like a showpiece, the transformation is definitely involved with all of them, but as far as I can see the tolerances are well designed so that it doesn't seem to be feeling scary (though some of the tight joints might make it hard at times). The altmode body is a bit inelegant, but those wings will probably take the focus away from that, right?! Hope you enjoy him Ben!
I'd try lubricating the combiner joint before disassembling anything. I had a similar issue with the first Cang Toys arm figure and a few drops of silicon shock oil helped get that piece moving smoothly without requiring any open-toy surgery.
What kind would you recommend for the shock oil. I think I wanna go ahead and get some cause I've had my days of fighting with combiner joints and think I just want to go straight to lubricants now.
@@Chaplin001 I don't think the brand matters. The important part is that it's silicone-based because that shouldn't have any kind of chemical reaction with the plastic. It usually only takes a drop or two to just loosen up the tight joints enough to make them move smoothly or to take away the squeaking.
Ben, how do you feel about the usage of a sixth member, or would you prefer parts forming components like Toyworld and Zeta? Also Thanks for the great review!!
I think these guys fit in better with t-beast than with original cartoon accurate mp figures. That's how I view this set anyhow. I didn't realize how far off this set is from the original g1 (or g3?) seasons. Kind of bugs me but it's all well. The decepticons need some t-beast, it's lopsided autobot at the moment.
While he looks dang good, I definitely think he has absolutely no place in a display with other G1 bots simply due to how drastically different his sculpt is to the simplified G1 designs many companies are going for now. It's not anything bad, it's just that he sticks out like a thumb that's swollen to the size of a zeppelin.
This figure was never advertised as beeing G1 why people seem to bring this up with every release still baffles me. Stop beating the dead horse! Everything doesn't have to be G1.
@@sebastiaankolbkkristensen6488 Uh, I never said it was G1. I said it has no real place in a grouping of G1 style characters because it's so drastically different than the figures from companies like Fans Toys and Takara.
To me that's the appeal of this. There's only so many times or ways you can make it look G1ish before they all start to blend together and start looking bland.
Hi, it's been more than one year since this video came out. Does anyone know the release date of the next ones ? I've seen a Dinobot serie is going to arrive. Can they still do both at the same time ?
I got mine paid for but hasn’t shipped yet from show z. My master made devastator is on the way though. I love these cang toys and cant wait for the whole combiner. Question Ben are you going to be getting the moon studios raiden??
I agree to a point. I'm keeping them on their own shelf in my collection, but only because they don't scale well with other MP figures. I don't have Firmament yet, but Landbull doesn't look as Zoid-like as Ferocious and easily could be put with the collection if it wasn't so huge.

@@jasonhoff2704 actually it’s going to be a eight bot combiner
Not gonna lie, I have expected this figure to burst into flames from how bright its colors are. Love it all the same though.

First review I’ve seen to show the bottom feather knives.
Sweet
Kato's Kollection also did that, along with the top ones too.
Could you imagine how good they could make Leozack and his crew look... Hellbat and Guyhawk in that style would be amazing!
Looking forward to adding this o e to the team. Great set so far and seems Can't Toys is listening and making each one better.
They will face off against the GP Dinobots on my shelf.
Eventually . . .
Looking good!
I'm suuuuper excited for the full gestalt!

My Firmament should be showing up any time now. This is might not be for everyone, but I think its going to be an epic combiner!
What site did you order from? you can pm me if you dont want everyone to know.
@@Xashi_Xouless Had mine pre-ordered at TF Direct.

All the websites said it was coming out in the spring. Didn't realize some stores had it now. Thanks for the heads up!
YES MY DUDE! I was hoping you would do this soon
They'll look amazing next to Fall of Cybertron dinobot's.
Ben, how do you feel about the usage of a sixth member, or would you prefer parts forming components like Toyworld and Zeta? Also Thanks for the great review!!
Tbh i like both. Zeta's approach give's stability and give's screen accuracy with torso and thigh's. A 6th member giver another bot to display.
All these details, just to become an arm. Awesome.

Each subsequent one of these shows up the prior one. What kind of standard are we gonna be at by the time they're done?
Great video as usual, how would you compare the plastic quality to say, Zeta's Bruticon or Constructor?
Looking for suggestions of an inexpensive but good quality stand to display my Cang Toys Firmament figure when it’s in bird mode.

Leave it to you to show another outstanding bot I don't need but love😀
Beautiful design. Greetings

It's really nice looking, but let's be honest...they just won't fit in with a G1 masterpiece collection. It's like a Zoid and Diaclone Frankenstein.

i gonna wait for boxset
This figure is down right beutiful, that bird mode is amazing and the bot mode gives me transmetal megatron vibes
4:19 I have a cuestion, what brand does the swoop figure belong to?
Gigapower :)
@@Benscollectables oh, thanks
Does anyone of the CT-04 news? I hope this company didn't close down due to the pandemic.
It’s a big company bud , they own TFC among others so they are still going !! Honestly can’t wait though
Why'd you have to go and say that bit about the spider. My wife'll NEVER let me get it now.
It’s actually a crab if that helps lol
Ordered mine from Terrytfsclub.
We’re did u get it from
Robotkingdom
Omfg this is fucking amazing i need it now lol
Squeaky joints with pretty lousy pose ability. The only thing he has going for him is the colors and those wings. Shame.
